go to the OHR gen. and look for Intlligent boss battles , they talked about it there... |

There are ways to do it, but they don't look as clean, as they involve spawning multiple enemies which have to "sizzle away" when they die anyway. The only real way is to make a custom battle system, or bug James.
Oh, and this thread probably belongs in the "Game Design" forum (EDIT: was originally in the "Art Corner").

origin had a slightly different death animation for boss battles. instead of just pixilating away, fireballs would shoot out of it while it was pixilating away.
this is probably accomplished with an invisible enemy set to use a no damage attack with an insanely high number of extra hits when alone and maybe also set to die when alone. that or the boss uses it on death... probably the first since it's an older game. _________________ LJ.Art
