Right me boyo. I hate to deflate your ego, but unless you are a respected, longtime user of OHR, and have at least some work/portfolio to offer, nobody will make your game for you. Yo and Matt should try and make the game on your own. Its going to be crap as all first games are, but the tihing is you will learn from the experience.
And are you SERIOUS about that plot? Id rather go to the dentist than sit through that one. Sounds like something that you and your pall conjured up in a free period at school. Its desperate. Comedy is EXTREMLY hard to do in OHR, unless it is a parody like Arfenhouse. Speaking of which, go play it, it will give you an idea of what can be done.
Finally kiddo, try and come up with a decent plot- not a halfbaked making it up as you go along plot. A real one. Write it out like a story, and use that to help plan the game. Visit some pixel art pages. If you can compose on pc, try out notate or the like. Read plotscripting for beginners many times, and work through the sample rpgs. Practice practice practice, and dont give up. Good luck!
[EDIT] And learn to type properly. Might seem insignificant, but will boost your kudos no end _________________ What cruel person decided lisp should have an s in it? |

*reads over the "plot"*
This game is either going to be really funny, or really stupid. I'm guessing the latter (Bob the Rabbit (?!?!?!)) but...good luck anyway.
And no, I won't help. I'm busy arguing with Mr. B about our game's history/story/future. So...yeah. Good luck and all. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

I can help, but I've only done one plotscript (and Uncommon had to fix it) and I've only written, like, four songs and only one didn't suck and it's in Magnus 17: Off De Edge Of Dis Pair (of edges) (played in the idiots' village).
I'm okay with maptiles (as seen in the art forum and parsons apprentices tale) and I'm pretty good at battle graphics, though I haven't shown my best here yet.
I'd also have to put one project on hold... again, but I'm willing to help in any way I can. _________________ Hotels are hot... |

A lot of us are already involved in some kind of software team of sorts. Minnek is der leader of RPG EXcel and I am in it as well. Iverall a developement team should be a good oportunity for me. HOWEVER, I can only be in so many developement teams. Good luck though. Seems as though you already have a few offers. If my little brother "music prodigy" wasn't such a big time ass, I would get him to help you. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

(woops! Sorry bout' the double postage, but you can't be too careful...)
Anyway, I for one think that is a great base story. Nothing too complex, and easy to follow, that is if you were led correctly. It is all about presentation. You gotta use the most insignificant characters first, then have the more significant one clean house after them. Like spore, for instance, he sounds hilarious. You can have it so he is the only one who can get you into the enemy perimeter, or something. Anyway, take critisism kindly, and keep on your quest for developers. I can help you fix yer story up, maybe... Pm me, I'd be glad to hear from you. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
