I hate making Walkabouts. Or I did. I don't really as much now. Anyway, I tried to get better by making some random sprites, and since I am the big Naruto fan I am, I made some Naruto sprites. Tell me what you think. (And no, I don't really plan on using these for anything...just yet...)

I dont know anything about naruto but, those are pretty good i think with some more practice you be awsome at making sprites. Sprites and maptile graphics are the only thing holding me back from making great games and it looks like thats not going to be the case with you. Well, I think the arms are too long in the front/back views, and the faces in the side views look a little weird, but otherwise they're pretty good. I'd say you have a decent (not perfect) understanding of shading, and you're on the right track. |

...that is...freaky...
I didn't read this until this morning (I changed my avatar last night) and...yikes. That is disturbing...
ANYWAY I like them. They hold their arms out a little much on the ups and downs but that is ok. The side to side is good, and the animation looks fluid. They could use some shading work, but eh, they are ok.
I still have Sprites.rpg by the way. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

Shh! Sprites.rpg is secret! If people found out it was in the /sew/ directory of Castleparadox... who knows what I would do!?

I have fixed all the sprites, for a certain upcoming project. I have the best plostscripter in all the land working on it with me, and it should be out soon.. keep your eyes peeled, and don't revive dead threads.

Golly, that 'secret project' wouldn't have anything to do with Naruto, would it? |

I hate to point this out, but they are rather lackluster. It seems I am the only one who is able to distinguish between "good" art and "horrible" art. These are not horrible (I have seen worse) but they are not to the standard the other posters think. |

Show us some of your art, then. (note: NOT sarcasm, I'm serious! Let's see some! ) _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

You don't need to make movies to say Gigli blows. |

Sew's sprites don't really do it for me either, But i were to mention this to him, I'd at least try to give him some advice on how to improve them in my eyes. All you're doing is being arrogant and complaining a lot. _________________

Here's a better thought:
Why did a dead thread get revived?
(To stay on topic, anything that is better than my sprites is "good" and those are about equal to mine, so those are between average and good in my book. ) _________________
