Hmm...I was actually still developing a tutorial for this, but I'll give you a short of it:

- You can find a good MIDI software, or the programs that Jabber suggested, and write your piece.

- If you write your piece as BAM, then you're all set, just import it. If you do it as MIDI, then open the program MIDI2BAM that comes in the OHR package (should be in the folder called "Import" that's in the directory you
unzipped OHR into).

- Inside MIDI2BAM, you hit the "F3" (load MIDI) key, and wait for it to open the file completely. Once the file is open, you can hit "F5" to start or stop it (if you want to listen to it), and just hit "F2" to save it. Once you press "F2", you can type in the filename you want the BAM to be called (max. 8 letters).

- After this, you're done. Just import them into Custom in your "Import Music" option!

If you would like some references as to music in the OHR, feel free to download any soundtracks on the gamelist.

It's pretty difficult to write something that sounds good without some knowledge of music theory. Learn how music works, and then you'll be able to understand how to put notes together in a musical way. It doesn't mean you'll be able to write good music, but at least you won't be flailing around randomly trying to figure out what sounds good together.

Notate should be in your IMPORT folder contained with Custom.
PS: Good to see you back, CD. Haven't seen you since you were screwing around on MAME and I ran into you.
