Oh, and it's okay to threaten an admin. I do it all the time(to IM about my gifs. Heh.). Usually it's jokingly, but I am occasionally am left rebellious to what they do(Setu is one, for example).

Well, this is a community site, and I suppose you all deserve to hear the sordid little details that led to No_Shot's day ban.

Basically, I entered the channel and No_Shot was once again whining in long, convoluted sentences that everyone hated him, the world was against him, and nothing he could do could change this. He's done this quite a few times before, and this time, his new cause for grief was that his van was impounded because he drives without insurance. According to No_Shot, this wasn't his fault. His parents yell at him, he's got acne, girls don't want to date him, these were all his complaints about things he couldn't change, with getting his van impounded at the top of his heap of grievances against the world.

He had ground all interesting, useful conversation to a halt with his inane, occasionally swear punctured ramblings. No_Shot wasn't listening to what anyone had to say to improve his situation or even attempting to fix his problems, because in his opinion, the world was completely against him and nothing he could do could ever solve these problems. As No_Shot pointed out, he is much older me, and is still struggling to move out of his parent's house, which he usually blames on "the man".

So it's two in the morning, No_Shot's gone off the deep end, and nothing anyone is saying is calming him down. He isn't listening to reason, that he can change his life for the better if he just tries hard enough, but instead letting his tirade become more and more unfocused. Finally, I gave him a warning that if he didn't quit it right now and grow a spine to stop blaming his problems on "the government" and "everyone" that I would ban him for the night, which he then made light of while declaring how horrible his life was, so I banned him, telling him to get a job so he could pay for car insurance, since this isn't the first time he has whined about trouble with the law over it. Since he violently points outthat he has a job in this thread, I retract my statement and instead urge him to purchase a bike with his money, so he doesn't incur any of the risks seen with van ownership that he seems to keep running amuck of.

So there you all go. Don't agree with it? That's fine. But last night at 2 in the morning, the other ops agreed with my choice, and so did the majority of the channel's occupants. And by the way, he's already unbanned.

Oh, and No_Shot? Remember all those years ago, when you came to this community trying to spread the word of God and make great games? I liked that guy a lot better then the No_Shot I had to ban last night.

no_shot.... I am gonna agree with everyone who has said it in this thread... You're a moron. But I will say something different. You're a fucking moron. You don't rat off an administrator, not if you want to stay in CP anways. Setu said it best, or someone did, you should have PMed your problems to CN. I mean he's got Instant Messenger and he's on CP a lot, he will get your message. Besides, your'e handling this issue too seriouslly. This is the internet, there's a high chance you will never meet these people and therefore no reason to gripe about what goes on.

I meant ratting off like as in telling CN about what problems you have with him. And to Shadowiii, sometimes AIM doesnt even work. But it is much more succesfful than PMing him.

I wanted to post this in public rather than PM CN, because yes, I want everyone to see it. I'm not afraid to expose myself to the light.

And a little update on the van situation: I'm about halfway to getting insurance and getting it the fuck out of the stupid pound, whenupon I'm either a) going to sell the van and hopefully get reimbursed on my insurance (I need proof of insurance, no questions asked, to be able to get it back) because the damn thing is more trouble than it's worth, or; b) start my own taxi company. I'm more inclined to go with b, even though it might get the local cab companies after me...well, we'll see what happens anyways.

Oh, and perhaps my turbulent emotional state is the result of me just exiting the awkward stage of my life (High School, puberty, etc.), which you, CN, are just entering.

Duranduran or whatever, who exactly the fuck are you? I don't know you (I don't think), and you're calling me an idiot? You and your friend Iblis need to learn not to insult people simply because you do not understand them.

I'm 19, a sophomore in college who gets excellent grades, easily holds down jobs, is currently studying in Japan, and I've had a steady girlfriend for the last two years of my life. All of these things you lack, No_Shot. This "awkward stage" of your life No_shot, is caused by having no self-esteem, still living with your parents as you near 30 years old, and thinking that the world is at fault for your many problems. I know that I can change my life by working hard, and I did so. You do not. Do not blame your violent mood swings on anything but your own misguided beliefs.

For a working class hero, No Shot, you sure a violent towards those in the working class who oppose you. Ilbis and Durandal are not friends. They merely both thought your post was stupid.

Now, you have decided to publicly insult myself, Ilbis, and Durandal. You have posted a thread designed to attack me because you cannot see past your own foolishness of driving a van without insurance. The annoucement forums, and all of CP is NOT a place for you to scream out your profanity stained opinions. This thread is closed, and I am issuing you a one month ban. In that time, I suggest you remember that Castle Paradox is supposed to be used to forward your game design skills, not spew forth stupidity.

Oh, and I left the thread open to give No_Shot a chance to defend his actions. Silly of me, in retrospect.
