I thought this was pretty cool:

Heh, someone forgot to disable the debug keys...

Ends of the Earth 2 was made before the "Disable Debug Keys" bitset was added to the OHR, so it's only logical that all the debug keys would work in it. While they make the game easier, they also ruin the fun. Then again, EOTE2 hasn't aged too well in my opinion...

We do think so, too, Etinyth. This thread is a tad over a month old though, and it's really lost its appeal...

Bleh, I hated it. The story was awful. The character's had no motivation and plot developments were applied with a sledgehammer. It would be dismissed as a terrible newbie game if the graphics weren't so pretty.

OMFG POSTING ON REVIVED THREAD

EOTE2 is actually one of my favorite OHR games ever, if not THE most favorite...of my...OHR games ever...ok that wasn't english.

The real reason I liked it is because (you know what's coming)...MUSIC PLACEMENT! And the battles were the most polished I have every played to date. Good music + good gameplay = happy shadow for many hours. I won't aruge that the characters sucked, though. The graphics are above average in the new standard, but not amazingly beautiful (plus there was some FFV ripping).

Still, I love that game, and I still go back to play it every now and then. It is one of the few OHR games I've every played that seemed so...polished. It didn't feel like (gameplaywise anyway) I was playing an OHR game, it felt like I was playing an actual game (same feeling when playing Crescent Dream, by the way Raspberry!)

Uh, yeah. NOW LET THIS THREAD DIE IN PEACE. Oookay...
