I am very happy to announce that the work on the Kidworld Remake will begin as soon as I have downloaded the OHR RPG CE onto this computer, as my stupid floppy (brand new) won't be read. If you have any ideas or contributions for this game, your support will be much appreciated and your name will appear in the credits next to your contribution AND the names of some of your games. Again, thanks for any help.

to learn how anime is done. Not that you have to do anime, but it's the best kind of art to use in RPGs.

Anime is not the best style to use in an rpg. Nor is any other style. The style that best presents a given story is the best style for the rpg. Anime is fine for a manga inspired action game, but if Final Fantasy 6 had used anime it would've been a stylistic failure. Likewise, if Gunsmith Cats were presented in roman paintings rather than manga it would be an Andy Warholish clash. I don't believe in those books and lessons on how to draw in a certain style. I reccomend just taking influence where you find it. Taking lessons only teaches you to draw like someone else. Most of us aren't from Japan, yet we struggle to draw like Japanese people. Heck, the best anime are usually heavily influenced by American cartoons, see Metropolis which is very Max Fleischer, it's basically what we'd have if Fleischer made Blade Runner. Don't try and learn how to draw like anime artists, try to learn how to draw like yourself. We already have anime, I want to see -your- art.

Although "So you want to be a pixel artist?" is ingenious. It teaches tricks rather than style. It just shows how to take advantage of the technology to best present your art.
