Basically, I want to know if this is possible: I want to make weapons that make the hero more effective against certain types of enemies. Example: Hero is equipped with sword, effective against bugs, hero is equipped with ax, hero is effective against humans. However, weapons don't have enemy-type bitsets, they just have elemental bitsets. Is there a way of changing a hero's bitsets when he is equipped with a certain weapon? (Please provide a semi-detailed script, i'm a horrible scripter) _________________ My name is...

Yes. I'm going to move this to OHR general discussion since this does not require any scripting whatsoever.
What you want to do is have different versions of the default "attack" command that gets attached to each weapon, then make each "attack" command get a bonus on a certain enemy type. So you'll have an "Attack" attack that is effective on humans, an "Attack" attack that is effective on bugs, etc. Make sure you keep track of which one affects who somehow (maybe change the name slightly by using icons or something?). Hope that helps. _________________
