When you attack the "First target" enemy, who are you attacking? I tested this-- I used an attack that auotmatically targeted the first enemy against the same battle formation. I fought this battle formation twice and I used it at the very beginning of each battle. It attacked different enemies even though it was set to automatically pick the first enemy.
Then I thought, maybe it attacks the "first target" that you selected, in the case of a chain attack, or the first target that you selected in the entire battle. It doesn't appear to do either of these.
I tested this (this is complicated, but I'll explain as best I can) by placing an enemy in the second slot of the battle formation. This enemy would spawn another enemy when hit. This new enemy would spawn in the empty first slot of the battle formation. The first attack would then chain to another attack which would automatically attack the first enemy target.
Still, the "first target" attack would attack either of the enemies. Not always the original one (which would mean that "first target" attacks the first enemy of the battle) and not always the spawned one (which would mean that "first target" attacks the enemy in the #1 slot in the battle formation). So it appears to be random.
So my question is, what does "First target" do? Is it random? Because if it is, then I don't see the point of "random focus". It's gotta do something. Someone please explain this to me. _________________ My name is...

To the best of my knowledge, it DOES choose the first target that is choosable. However...it doesn't work (i.e. it's an actual bug in the program). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's why it doesn't work. _________________

Hey, Aeth. Do you mean it hits the target closest to #1 (If not #1 it's self)? Like if #1 wasn't there, then it hits #2, and if 2 is gone, then 3 is hit instead.
Slot1: Enemy #1 (No matter where it is placed on the field, it is first to be hit.)
Slot2: Enemy #2 (Second to be hit ONLY AFTER #1 is killed.)
etc.
That is how it's supposed to work anyway.
Why don't I have this problem? It worked just fine... On wolfwood...

I'm pretty sure that's how it is supposed to work. Anyway, it probably is a bug. Thanks for clarifying Aeth. _________________ My name is...

It's a bug. It's on the Hamster Republic's bugs to be fixed list. _________________ OHR dies hard. |
