Okay now that I have your attention... (Hahaha)
I have been busy, and after listening to music a lot, I have gotten my scanner up and running, and scanned these a couple days ago while chatting on the mIRC, excited that these were being uploaded. Of course everything thought it was porno at first, but- ... well actually some of it is pretty close. I made some titles for my pieces, and, well, I have been into furries recently...
NAUGHTY GIRL:
This was me drawing Beyonce. Upon looking back at it I can seriously find no real comparison to the real Beyonce. Well, damn.
STUPID MONKEY:
One day my cousin Brandon wanted me to draw him, as a monkey. This was the crack filled result.
CREW OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
These are a bunch of classic people I like to draw. There's me, Zunamar, Carbuncle, Zunacarbuncle, Devetta, Julie, Weapon, Atma, Sammud, Ben, Ben as a monster, and others, including the top girl, who would be the Holy Spirit.
DRACO SERVANT:
This guy is from my "Get Furry or Die Tryin'" story. He is the servant dragon in the one chapter.
I HATE THIS PICTURE!!!:
I don't really hate this picture. I just had a tough time making it. I actually am kind of happy on the way it turned out.
EGGIE 2007:
This is what Eggie would look like 3 years from now. All jazz ghetto disco hip-hop like.
GUARDIAN SEVEN:
This is a character from Urban Fantasy. She never has fun, and is the only Guardian who never explores life. She is strict with her work, to protect the Hacino crystal. It's a long story, so I won't cover it.
HYBRID PUSSY:
This is a human cat. It was quite odd thinking this up.
INSANE CLOTHING LINE:
This guy is really a girl, during the day. That explains the odd choice of clothing, like the short shorts and tang-top.
DIRRTY:
This was best attempt at making Christina Aguilera. Actually she isn't really like this, but I got it from her music video, "Dirrty". Anyway, I like this one.
SILLY PANTHER:
This panther is simply looking in the mirror, all happy. While this panther...
WHAT THE F*CK IS SHE DOING?:
I had no real idea why she looks like she is constapated, but the thing between her knees would be a tail, just to clear that up.
P.I.M.P.:
This simple fox is a pimp, but he doesn't pimp up girls. He pimps up life, because he is the man! Uhhh... fox!
UGLY SELF:
This raptor girl is sad, because she is a raptor, and she thinks she's ugly. But really, she's beautiful. Beautiful underneath her scaly unhuman flab.
LIONS LUV HENTAI!!:
At first the title of this piece was "Lions 'r' Retarded", but that needed a change. So I made it 'Lions Luv Hentai!!', which is kind of funnier. Anyway, this is my anthem furry. Me as a furry. Me as a werelion. Me as God's left hand.
Some of this stuff I took very little time to make, so give me a break, for God's sake. I guess some of them I worked harder than others.
Really the point of this post was to see what I have been doing recently.

Okay, are you saying it's bad, or saying you don't care? God, I feel like I am getting worst. Well, I guess I'll never draw again... |

Please people. I can only get better if you say how to improve. Don't just say what is bad, and go off in your own world. Unfortunately I guess my skills has faded away. Well, I never really had any, because I haven't really tackled furries until recently. Anyway, please, please, please say how I can improve.
LONG POST SHORT:
Tell me how to improve, rather than just saying what's so terrible. I would really appreciate that.
In fact, show me some of your art. I don't want to be scolded by people who have no experience in the genre. |

I can barely see some of them. Too light. Other than that, your style has improoved sketch wise. I love the character designs on some of them. EDWIN!
I saw that you have planned out what some of the characters from you hit story. It's good to go through planning phases like this...
You have got a good grasp on clothing. Once again, I can barely see some of these, but I noticed that from the DRACO SERVANT. Also, I like funny facial expressions myself. You have that goin' on as well.
PS: I really should stop posting in threads so much, and going down instead of up? That is bad for me...
PPS: I am not just being nice, Egg. I am serious. Although these looked rushed (a little) they are a small improvement from earlier. You were preoccupied with your story, so don't fret. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I think that a big part of why no one could come up with any suggestions for you is becuse you sent us such a mass of uploads. It'd be easier if you sent us a few or even only one upload at once so that we could comment on it instead of sorting through 50 image links looking for some sign of improvement.
Speaking of signs of improvement, all of these images are doodles and sketches, which are fun to show off but hard to give serious suggestions on. Right now it looks like you spent less than five minutes on all but two of those images, and all the drawings that you didn't put any effort into actually looks worse than your older stuff. What's needed in order to give you the artisitc advice you're demanding is for you to put an emphasis on quality rather than quantity.
That said, The first thing I'd work on is your line quality. Try using lighter lines that are easier to erase until you have everything in the right position in your drawing, then go overthem with heaver lines, or better yet in ink. If you can't sacrifice your ability to erase by the time you've already drawn the linework and are just going over things to make the lines more legible to your viewrs and scanner, you might as well just cut your balls off.
You also need to practice your shading. Try using a freshly shapened pencil or colored pencil at varing rates of pressure and spacing between lines to get the largest rangle of value (lightness and darkness) you can, then apply that to your drawings.
Finally, you should be looking at other artists as often as you can. Look at your favorite webcomics, or at oyher artists here on the OHR. Hell, you could even look at my drawings if you're into pathetic failiure. The important part is to study the way that other people draw, what lines they use, and the shapes they use to draw body parts. You need to look at other people's formulas and techniques, and figure out what kind of formulas and techniques you can use to improve your own art. _________________

That's a little harsh.
I guess I take too little time making some of these drawings, and I should use ink again. I did that before, and the output was better. Outlining is probably better for me, too.
Yeah, and next time I won't flood the topic with art.
Actually, I took more than just a couple of minutes making the Lions Luv Hentai. |
