Yep. I got bored one day so decided to make a game.

I couldn't upload it on this site so...

(the part of the post I deleted is now redundant. Which thus explians why I deleted it)

ok, ok. By know chicken farm is not technically 'demo in a day' anymore since I went back yesturday and ironed most of the bugs and flaws in it. But at least it's up on the game list now.

Among the new additions:

Much simpler interface using key presses rather than choice textboxes to
decide things.

30 day seasons (as of yet they do not affect anything and winter does not lead back to spring)

Entertainment TV channel available.

Eat chickens! :flamedevil:

and other bugs fixed...

Now you can enjoy 'Chicken Farm:demo in a day'.[/b]

Guess it serves me right for rushing something then expecting people to be all like 'wow'. I promise to release the final version only when it's truly finished and glitch free.

Why on earth did I upload a demo where you can so easily get a script
buffer overload message?

oh, and just for the benefit of anyone still reading this, I'm close to finishing the game

among the new things that aren't in the version I uploaded about a week ago;

More player stats. Now you can suffer from heart attacks, heart failures you can even freeze to death!

Purchase things to use on the farm, in a small neighbouring town!

No more script buffer overflow problems! ( Oookay...

learned the debug buttons)

More stuff I can't be bothered to type!

Sounds like a fun and cool game, Jun. To tell the truth, those of us who DO care are busy. I'm sure everyone here is happy that you are keeping yourself busy and incresing your game making ability. =)

Happy news! I've finished and uploaded Chicken Farm:complete! Now I
don't ever have to post in this thread again and I can etch one notch on my bed post tonight. Now if only someone would waste 8 hours of their time playing the game through to the end. Neutral

Cool, made it one just a few days huh? You mustve known what the heck you were doing to make all that script in so little time. Its tooken me like a week and i still havnt made a sript i wanted to. But anyways, good job. I really liked it.

Oookay...

still rather embarassed that the game didn't turn out how I wanted it to (should of added a mini game or something to liven things up).

I uploaded a 'corrected' version today (to try and work out the bugs and make the game seem less boring) which is really just fancy talk for 'this is the version I should have uploaded first, rather than the crappy, easy, boring versions beforehand. I apologise for this habit of changing things after I'm 'finished' with them and promise to stop working on it now.
