ever play tales of destiny? an engine similar to that would be nice...maybe with a foreground, midground, and background instead everyone awkwardly trying to stay in line though...maybe not until hamster wheel will we see something like this...it just wouldn't work...just forget I said anything

scripting a tales of destiny system will be harder (if not the same) than making a fighting system... it'll need pixel based collision and pixel-based moving, it's pretty much is out of the question right now...

though people are welcome to give it a try.

CN did say that he wanted the tutorials to be pixel based though.

While I think that its a great idea, and everyone should be going pixel based, I think that we are still going to end up with a bunch of tile based engines.

Oh. I forgot that I rearranged all of the npcs in the battle system to make them more organised and easy to customise. I'll have to work out the relations again before I can use that script...

Other than that, it looks VERY GOOD.

Okay, I have been recruited to take over for MCW in creating a Zelda/action RPG style engine, as he is incapable of getting steady access to the internet. So yeah, me working.
