ok...I may have a new username but, for those of you who've been around for awhile, it should be obvious who I am...

now, I know that in the past I've never actually finished a game (not one I released anyway) and well, this time I'm changing that! and why you ask? because I was inspired by .hack...sorta me and a friend had the idea to make an mmorpg for awhile and we're kinda gettin' there but in the ohr version of Chronicles of Draconia you play a character who also plays an mmorpg but, very much unlike .hack, you can explore the outside world...that's really all I can say without ruining it...

I've already written basic outlines for the first 3 chapters of the game, and have the rest in my head...I'm not gonna give too much information out on the plot (because it's got alot of twists and I don't want to ruin it) let's just say you're a kid and you have a friend you play an mmorpg all summer and your friend gets well, in a bad BAD situation so you go out to fix that...yeah

and well, (as usual) I need...help...and by help I mean just some graphics...I'm good at drawing but I well can't seem to do all that great on some things... maptiles, and hero graphics...and screens...I'm just not good at making maptiles and as for hero sprites well...I'd give myself a 5, I don't really need anyone to do those...and screens I could do good on my old computer but I can only save as 16 and 32 bit so I can't make screens anymore...well, I can but not very good...so...I'm asking for help...anyone who helps at all will get the credit due to you in full...(as this is fre...that means your name in the credits! w00t!)...andand I've already asked Adrianx because as soon as I played Crescent Dream, I knew that that is exactly what an ohr game should be like...and I guess, to be fair I will give the same offer I gave him to anyone who helps with this...your name in the credits, somewhat random plugs for any of your games, or you yourself...because this will be made to simulate an mmorpg your username could be placed on an NPC or even a hidden character...but it's first come first serve for that so anyone that helps will get a plug for a game (or however many you want in there) and you if you want...and I will not disappoint you if your hard work goes into this game I will make sure it gets completed faster...without actually rushing it...

so, thank you in advance to anyone who does halp and to those who don't...grr...but I assure this will be an ohr classic...(assuming atleast 1 person helps) I mean I'm not asking that much...just maptiles and screens and MAYBE hero sprites...

ok...if you're sure that's all you want...

ok...for anyone who is good at doing sprites all I need are:

hero sprites-
female dark elf rogue (pale, not purple skin, red cloak, gold necklace, she uses a dagger in reverse-hand horizontal stabbing motion)

male human templar (this is supposed to your best friend's character, so he's your meatshield in the beginning, brown cloak black hair, iron pouldrons and he uses a templar blade, a skinny great sword pretty much)

and human male characters of these following classes: (these can look anyway you want, they're for the main character because you get to choose from a select few of the actual 20 something classes in the game and only one of eight player character races)

mage(cloak please, hat optional)

cleric(white cloak, hood down)

knight(armor and cape)

rogue(just like the rogue, maybe a different cloak tho)

ninja(ummm...in a ninja uniform of your choice whether it be traditional or like in the old MK)

samurai(gi and maybe a hat...I want the sheath on his left...and just to attack by unsheathing)

battle mage(like a red mage...maybe a different outfit to be original)

archer(well, not much to say there...)

I'd like all of those but I'll use whatever I get...I may have to make the game in two different "versions" with 4 choosable classes each, due to item and skill restrictions

oh...this has been annoying me for awhile...could anyone do a skeleton warrior? I've tried, my dad's tried...it just won't come out right...I wanted one with blue shoulder armor with gold trim and a long sword...but it didn't work...I can make a lich but not a skeleton warrior for some reason...so one of those would be very appreciated...

ok, basically I'm limiting choosable classes for the main character to just knight, rogue, mage, and battle mage

but, if anyone started on any other class (though I highly doubt it) good news! your hard work will still pay off as a hidden character

so, I'm just going to post this for anyone who wants to help or just wants to see their name in a game...or just wants a plug for their game...probably on the character's desktop or an NPC(which actually simulates another person playing the mmorpg Chronicles of Draconia) just ranting about how everyone's an idiot for not playing it!

so if you want a plug, or just want to help me out I'll list all the races and classes available in Chronicles of Draconia:

ok...I guess in an earlier post I said there was to be 20+ classes but, I guess if you add in elements and alignments you get quite alot and I did the math there's over 2,000 combinations, without restrictions such as normally certain races can't be certain classes and certain classes require a certain alignment...but for the ohr version anything goes, so if anyone wants their character made in the game just send the sprite, and the race/class you want ( in case I can't tell from the sprite) and how you want him/her to behave

Seriously dude, we have something called an "edit" button for posts, and getting to read your request list get longer and longer is NOT something the Annoucement forum is for.
