Okay, I'm not around much but this much should be obvious to anybody

The OHRRPGCE boards are quite inactive in some places.. I think all the ohr boards should be merged into ONE BOARD. then MAYBE we'll get more than 2 posts a day in the forum.

Really, 1 or 2 posts a day in 3 out of the 7 forums suck. just merge them together! DO IT!

Please, everybody who agreeds, nag for this to happen!

Besides, I think this place is rather busy anyway, for a community based on creating interactive content.

There were 30+ posts a day on Zantetsuken's OHR board back when it was around, usually 10 at the lowest. So actually, these boards are incredibly inactive. It doesn't help that most of the pillars have left. I heartily agree with Shiz, if only because there's no need to have so many forums that are essentially for the same thing.

1. Shiz, JSH, joining one or more user groups would help you find interesting threads.

2. If you don't think enough posting goes on, create your own damn threads. What, you think people are here to entertain you? The forums exist so OHRers can help themselves. If you've got a question, an interesting point to make, or a cool OHR related link to share, do it. Don't bitch and moan about how the masses of the forum aren't entertaining enough for you.

3. Over a day period, CP gets roughly 70 posts total in all of its forums. I can't help it if you two don't belong to enough user groups or you're constantly slamming the refresh button.

4. Yes, in the past on Zant and on CP, there were many more posts. However, many of those posts were generated by the much hated and completely useless General Discussion forum. This forum attracted people who had little to nothing to do with game design or OHR, and who posted in other places, causing useless spam and annoying the heck out of everyone. If you don't believe me, feel free to check the now closed General Discussion forums and look at how many idiot posters simply don't go to CP anymore because the conversation has been directed to more serious things.

5. JSH, you've mentioned living the OHR Community because it's so rotten several times in your LJ. What do you care about low post counts? O_o

6. Once again, this isn't the CP forums problem, this is yours. If you want more interesting conversations, more exciting threads, and more to do, by all means stop whining and do it. I'm sure people will thank you for it.

1) Keep in mind not many are active either.
2) Shiz means that there's only 2 or 3 replies to most threads, and usally by the same person. PS: He did have a point to make.
3) Eh, normally it's more like 30.
4) There still are people who post useless spam(just not as often).
5) JSH didn't say he cared. He just said that there aren't many people talking.

Normally I would have agreed with Shiz's idea, but I rather like not having to see things I'm not interested in. But it does cut down the number of threads I read to a small number. And I think activity has been dropping in the last week, with almost no posts on the general OHR board at all.

Less posts may be a good thing though, as it's a possibility people are working harder on their games/projects/whatever instead of posting here. Of course, people might just be slacking off too *coughShadowandMinnekcoughcough*

Anyway, I'm against Shiz's idea - I like having seperate boards since I can hang around the ones I have plenty of experience in (plotscripting, etc) and help out there, and then if I feel llke it or something catches my eye, look in say the Art forum. I typically don't browse all the threads on CP, since I'd rather be ~~playing RO~~ working with my projects. Raspberry!
