Finally David... Its been a while... although you did mention something about today being the day of putting the game up, so I cant complain... Happy

I really dig your Avatar... Did you draw it yourself? (I wouldnt be suprised)

Listen the game is still not up to scratch... it still has some plotscripting problems... infact... it has no plotscripts whatsoever!

Please play it... It still rocks... Tell me what you think... Maybe write a review on it! Big grin

I see the game got a really bad review by Athereal... a D+ or something... I dont think that is what it deserves, athough it probably should have been thouroughly tested before released.

Im sorry David, that review was just a bit unfair. Neutral

But I know that it still needs work and it can still become a memorable game.

(Maybe cancel the Download and bring it out more complete next weekend)

Just a few bits of advice:

1. Dont expect much criticisms with such a short game
2. Arrogance doesn't make a game good. You may think that your games are really good, which isn't a bad thing, but other people have their own opinions, and you must concider other people if you are going to make a good game.
3. I'm not exactly sure how long you guys have been in the RPG making community (or any kind of internet community, for that matter), but the attitude you guys are giving off seems kinda childish and newbish. The way people present themselves is quite important.

I'm not trying to put you guys down or anything--I'm a nice guy, really! Your games were nice to look at, but right now, that's all it is. RPG making takes time, and we expect something good more than we expect something now.

Hey sorry if I came out that way but I'm not...I'm just happy I can draw acctualy draw on the computer Ha ha ha!

I know my game is abit lame but it was my first idea I had about making a game so it is special to me... Smokin'

I will be taking the game off, it is too out of hand (Being created over the duration of a whole year can do that)

But sadly I will be closing the Dafalos project for now...I'll start it up again but for now I will start a new project...and show that guy who gave my game a bad rating what my real skills are!! :flamedevil:

Oh yea paul something bad happened...(My brother un-installed something and it was somehow linked to my form 'delta' and so it was deleted...I lost everything...4 YEARS OF WORK!!! GONE!!!)

So you willl ahve to excuse me if my next game will take a while...my computer is in need of a beating...

I like your enthusiasm on the RPG stuff. I guess you are always starting new games so... its nothing new to you. Big grin

Is Dafalos off the server or should I remove it for you?

Good game, both of them...but I liked Davids more though...it was longer.
I liked it when you could dispose of your enemys body. Nice touch...
But I prefered Davids game more because he has told me so much about it...the whole story line and what he thinks he will do next...
The begining although a bit strange dose acctually fit in with the game as a whole...but sadly, as I see David is closing it.

Well David I hope you are right in what you wrote...I want to see your next game! Smokin'

Well... Winterfold reached 100 downloads yesterday! In the 6 or 5 days its been up, its acumulated so much... suprising, I never thought it'd get that popular... or is it because its infamouse... Im not too sure.

Anyway Winterfold has been coming along nicely... except that I cant hear any sounds on my Laptop with the OHRRPGCE... that sucks as I want to add the legendary songs that Setu_Firestorm composed for us recently... they really do rock! Thanks Setu! Big grin

Does anyone have suggestions on what program I could use to make the BAM's hearable? I would really appriciate it...

Okay, I was playing winterfold, and it was pretty good, and then; no hero graphics? It's like you were in a rush to release it.. If you worked on something for a year, why were you in a rush to release it?

Mr.RPGSpot guys, if you're working on your games hard, just see them through; I wouldn't dream of releasing a demo which has huge holes in it even if it was for a 48 hour contest!

And arrogance? Your problem is you didn't have nearly enough! As once people started calling you arrogant you backed down; Now, You're being way too socialible with this stuff: If you're gonna release a game arrogantly, have some confidence and just do it when you KNOW the game is as good as you say it is; As once you started saying "Okay, well, maybe our games aren't so great" I knew your arrogance wasn't backed up by anything, and that it was all talk. Why did you bother?

This is a rule in general, for everybody reading; If you think you game is great, show it off with a bunch of screenshots and brave comments of how excellent it is: and then DON'T SAY AN OTHER WORD. This is how I advertised Horgoth, and nobody accused me of being full of it.
That's how to advertise your game; OK?

Thanks Kenji... but winterfold was only worked on for about 2 weeks before release... Dafalos is the game that was worked on for a year...
Anyway. Happy

The hero graphics were not made as the laziness of David Kale was too much. They are, infact, still not done... even though the game is like three times its original release size. Ha ha ha!

Thanks for the tips on arrogence... I guess I was just a bit intimidated by all these guys thats all. Rolling Eyes

Really dramatic pieces and some really nice music for the town scenes and such.
