I have a wide variety of tastes.
I'll listen to anything from G-Unit
to Rock and Roll to Oldies to soul.

I just won't listen to Pop, Country,
and Heavy Metal.

I had just bought the new New Found Glory "Catalyst" album the other day and absolutely loved it the first time through.

I'm really into the SUPER ROBOT MUSIC.
You know.. it's the old school j-pop. Most of you kids wouldn't understand!

Also, I'm into a lot of the quirkier 80's things.. Like Queen and Joy Division, Twisted sister O_o.

Punk rock also.. The Vandals, The Dickies, The Dead Kennedys, are some of my favorites.. Relatively, I really like SURF Music.

Modern mands I'm into are Man or Astroman/Servotron, Optiganally Yours, The faint, Snake River Conspiracy, Faith no More, Aphex Twin, Saul Williams, Kool Keith, and even The White Stripes. (yes, I am mr.eclectic Raspberry!)

Occasionally I really dig POWER METAL. Also, broadway musical music! (especially les misarables).

A few faves:

Dropkick Murphys
Less Than Jake (YES! A great pop-punk-ska band)
Green Day
Dead Kennedys
Blink 182(Old School)
The Vines
Brand New
Alkaline Trio
Steve Miller Band (Everyone thinks its so wierd how I like em)
M.E.S.T. (Too bad GC is influencing em now...I hate good charlotte)
TheStereo(They broke up...)
Yellowcard
Smile Empty Soul
Rancid
Nirvana (Of course)
NOFX
Goldfinger
Boxcar Racer
Taking Back Sunday
311
Student Rick
ACDC

I'm forgetting more than half of my very favorite bands lol...But I'm tired of typing. I'll edit em in later.

I like occasional jazz...I dont know any groups/have CDs, but its cool to hear at a club or somthin. Playing bass has expanded the music I listen to(not too many awsom basslines in punk lol...exception of Rancid)

n Cowboy Bebop is one of the few japanese things I've seen n its themes crazy.

I like Beatle-Based Alternative and Frank Zappa.

So I basically just listen to exactly three bands and never get tired of them. Classical music is good, too.

I listen to:

They Might Be Giants
Frank Zappa
Gustav Holst
The Beatles
Weird Al Yankovic
Misc Classical Composers
Some game music
Devo
Talking Heads

Uh.. more? I'll stop now.

Hmm.. looking over the other posts, I'm surprised that I'm the only one to mention every one of the bands on my list... but then, I guess I shouldn't be.

I have recently discovered that the Pixies are really good. REALLY good. They've got tons of talent, catchy songs, and their style is a wonderful version of straight rock and roll that also manages to encompass bits of punk, grunge, and classic power pop. Excellence.

I like classical, hard-rock, alterative rock, classic rock, and about 80% of the NES music I've ever heard. My favorite musicians are:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Yohann Sebastian Bach
Ludwig Von Beethoven
Puffy Ami Yumi
Nobuo Uematsu
Elvis
The Monkees
and whoever the people are who did Dragon Warrior, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Mega Man.
