It's bringing up a 'page can't be found', and I've tried all the geocities tricks.

Please, to everyone and not just you, switch to photobucket.

It's not too bad. I think that the spread between the colors used on your shading is way too big, though (i.e. on his hair, either make the darker blue lighter or the lighter blue darker). It gives your sprites more of a "superpixel" look, for lack of a better term.

Yeah, the black outline in the hair makes it look very messy.

Don't make black hair (or black clothes) if you use black outlines. you need dark grey or blue hair.

looks great. Keep up the same quality with the rest of your game's walkabouts, and you have something good going there. =)

Outline makes the hair stand out in the tiles. take for example lafia series, they outline their sprites, and also bahamut lagoon. basically outlines make the sprites stand out more.

if I remove the outline, it will look even more messy.

The general rule for using a black outline is don't use them if you're outlining a dark color. If you have that guy against a grass tileset or earth-colored tileset, it will stand out even without the outline. And if you have that guy walking around on a dark tileset, well, uh, the hair's probably going to blend with the tileset.

good job, the only thing I recomend is to redo the hair without the black "outline" in it.
The frames going downwards looks like he's wearing a helmet, Maybe the hair could cover the eye a little or something.

thanks guys, this sprite will be my base for the rest of my sprites, and since mostly everyone here didn't like the hair, I will change them, but since this is just a base, I think its fine.
