Well, fancy surprise indeed (though I remembered you were supposed to be back this month, so it wasn't that big of a surprise).

The last two years seemed like a blur, so I think it's safe to say that you haven't missed too much. Like everyone said, there were about twenty contests in that time span, and about ten good games resulting from that (most of which were made in 48 hours), so you missed that. But not much else to speak of. The games in general have gotten progressively worse, though a few gems surfaced in that time: Walthrus: Return of the Crystals, Genesis, and Crescent Dream (according to the fanbase--I myself haven't played it yet) to name a few.

I haven't contributed much of anything to the community in the last two years (or three, or four...), so all those old games you were waiting to be updated, well, sorry to say that you'll still have to wait. My games are in a perpetual state of improvement, and therefore are never really ready, so that's why there hasn't been any new additions from my camp. But there is a new Epic Marathon going on right now (I think you left during the last one), so that's something.

And that's pretty much it. Hope you can hit the ground running again, and hopefully we'll see Scary Game 3 this year.

By the way, I only recently discovered that I was actually a playable character in one of your games. While making one of the classic OHR games would've been better, being a major character in a game by the OHR's top author was quite an honor, even if I have to rack my brain to remember who Ralfo is.

moogle1: your email isn't listed in your profile, and if it's in this thread i missed it. also, i wouldn't want to waste your long-distance phone money; i just wanted to catch up on events, ask how brazil was, talk about alterpoint (the project we sort of started together before you left), things like that. but why do you plan on never opening an instant messenger again, but use mirc -- isn't it the same thing? anyway i shall await you in mirc, if you have the opportunity try to come there very late at night (which is usually when i'm there).

Optionally, you can wait for me to appear on IRC, which I do occasionally, but as I find that I am about 90% less effective while on IRC, I've never been on it that often.

Instant messengers annoy me more than they help me, if you're wondering. My LJ (which I sporadically update) is now mogri1.

Komera, I do of course remember you. You stick out in my mind as the person who beat the eight Zelda dungeons without getting the sword. (If I am misremembering who actually did this, substitute that feat for WM:1 and RRRRPG.)
