I don't know about some but I have a fairly new computer and there are the following problems with it:
1. It runs on windows XP thus, DOS does not function well, thus I can't run O.H.R.R.P.G.C.E and any other related programs.
2. I can't play midi's which is a severe problem because I prefer writing game music as apposed to making a game.
3. I bitch too much...that has absolutely nothing to do with anyone on this page though.
I'm sure heaps of other people experience these problems and I'm sure some (eg. SETH) have the solutions. _________________ THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS RATED -- MD

I have run the OHR on Windows XP with zero problems. If you are having trouble, try this:
1. Go to Run
2. Type 'cmd' in the Run box. This will bring up the DOS prompt.
3. At the DOS prompt, type "cd", then a space, then the full path to where CUSTOM.EXE is minus the drive letter (for example, if it were in C:\Program Files\OHRRPGCE\, you'd type: cd Program Files\OHRRPGCE)
4. Type CUSTOM. Hopefully it'll run. If not, your computer is just plain weird O_o
As for the midis...that may be a speaker or sound card issue. _________________

I don't doubt it. I once saw a computer at school turn itself off and on again over and over for ten minutes straight! Cumputers can be really stupid sometimes. |

1. My computer spat at me,
2. Kicked me in the balls,
3. Giggled
4. And made noises resembling - "Arghugakurlillygabbagabaheywraghmememebeeeeekebo!!!!"
MY COMPUTER IS A F$#@ SPASTIC - ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM IS RATED -- MD

Your problem is that you are confusing your computer with your cat. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |
