Hello everyone. Im Craig and Im new here Happy

. I am createing a RPG/Petsite. I found some interesting stats that 60% of gamers play RPG site and only 12% play Petsites. I have mainly done the petsite side of things. (instead of pets I have used robots) For my Explore and Battle I would like it to be RPG styled but I need some ideas? Do u have any good ideas? If ya do could you write me a reply. I would be very greatful

2. Seriously, what's the deal with this "Petsite" stuff, and its relevance to making video games?

3. This website is about a Do-it-yourself RPG engine. Ideas shouldn't be hard to come by, it's the actual implementation you should worry about. If you're using an idea someone else made up, you'll most likely mess it up since you don't fully understand whoever made it up.

Okay... Well I better explain a little bit more before I get Criticized alittle further. I just really am not a roleplaying person, I never really have gotten time to see what it is about. For my site I require an artist but sadly the one who applied wants me to change my site to a roleplaying game. All I really request is a basic outline on what a basic RPG/roleplay is about. I can use that infomation so I can have some idea about what I'm looking for. From there I will create my own ideas. Sorry if I sounded like a jerk but Im just interested in what this is about.

Machu I like to take honest critisism so I might aswell explain and/or define Petsite Happy

. You create a robot, feed yourself, buy items, sell items, join clubs, forums, games, explore! Aim is to raise your robots strength, defence and speed etc. I do have some ideas but i just need a basic outline on somethings because i havnt roleplayed very much and basically need to know what it is.

To include a RPG side of my side I want to do it through my explore feature.

petsites are only 12% compared to RPGs 60% because petsites are boring... all you do is feed burp and spoil a pet... and the occassional battle (rarely happens unless you spend years gathering the funds for it)
RPGs is action, and has a variety of things to do than to feed your pet...

if you seriously don't know what a RPG is... play a Finalfantasy series (either 4 or 6) on the SNES.

Okay Craig... You want to know what an RPG is?

Well here 'ya go:

1: (n.) Rocket Propelled Grenade.

2: (n.) A game where the player pretends that he/she is a little character which someone else made up. Then the player makes the little character do stuffs in the little character's little world.

3: (?.) Anything else you can make out of the acronym.

Or, you could just download one of the games found here at this website, anyone that looks remotely RPGish will do, then go to www.hamsterrepublic.com and download Game.Exe to play the games.

If you're lucky, the game you picked already came with a renamed version of Game.Exe.

Petsite. Have atleast three basic stats that corrispond to the "pet's" fighting ability and work those against another "pet's" fighting ability.

Text Based: Sorta like D&D, except online, without dice. More commonly known as a MUD (MultiUserDungeon)
