I'd go as far as to delete the offender's CP name (if he/she has one) and permaban them. Something like this is unforgivable, ESPECIALLY because the file was passworded (if it had been one of my games [all unpassoworded], I'd say a two week ban or such would suffice, but this is rediculious). That means the person had to 1. Open the file with a password cracker 2. Alter it (proving malicious intent) and 3. Posting it up and claiming it for their own work (blatant stealing).

In other words, BURRRN HEERR!!!

My condolences to JSH. Even if OHR House had not been a fantastic piece of work, it hurts to have your stuff ripped. You can be slightly consoled by the fact that his "Remix" was not clever, was not original, and was definitely not funny and therefore no one will respect him for doing it.

I've seen things plagiarized before, judging by

a) the way the author speaks and
b) how the names are terribly ripped off

This would have to be the worst rip off ever. I agree
with Shadow. He does deserve harsh punishment for
something like this.

not really. you don't even have to open the .rpg file to get all of its contents.

If this was an entry for the Terrible Games contest, it's automatically invalidated because the author did not contact the original creator to do this. If someone wanted to do this with FFH or whatnot, I'd have no problem unless they didn't cantact me.

Actually this happened three times to myself, once with that game about the "Imp King", the second with Final Fantasy 0: War of the Magi, and thrice with that game where everything was frozen and there was some bodyheat script.

Anyway, my condolences.

Edit: I've looked over the work in more detail. Heh heh. They screwed up all over the place with misplaced tags, mislined textboxes and improper spelling all over the place. The scene with JSH, CN and Leroy is buggy, to say the least.

Bob Nixon is probably the biggest jerk on the planet. OHR House is a marvel (it doesn't even need prior knowledge of the contestants to be enjoyable) and what he did is unforgivable. Let us all spam him with death threats.

i admit that i downloaded the file just to see what kind of ripping and hacking was done. and i concure... that has to be the absolute worst rip i have ever seen. on my quality list, this one is going BELOW magnus. (and remember, boys and girls, i, too, have seen one of my games ripped)
