You know what I mean. There's a roof over the room, you walk through the door, and bang. The roof and all things outside the room disappear. This script is now on the game list under "FF1 Door Script." |

Wow, as if we couldn't just see it as one of the most recently added games to the gamelist. |

Also, FF1's door system isn't an accomplishment. Dragon Warrior's is, though.
But good job on figuring it out. |

Link, the reason it isn't a big accomplishment is because all you did was put up npcs all over the wall and just has an npc turn a tag on and off. That is NOT very complicated. _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

I thought it was an interesting concept ya got there...even though there was no real genius behind it, "it's the simple things in life are the ones you treasure!"

|

I think the easyest way to do this would be with the "load tileset" command. Make two matching tilesets. One tileset contains the outside tiles, and roof-tiles in place of all the inside tiles. The other tileset contains all the inside tiles, and blank spaces for all the outside tiles.
Then you make a simple script to switch tilesets and attach it to a step-on NPC in the doorway. |
