She looks kinda butch... Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I also think she looks like she's wearing a t shirt with a picture of herself on it. I saw somebody do that in real life once, but it wasn't even one of those carnival shirts like "Wanted fer horse ranglin'!" it was just an 8x10 head shot, like you'd send a model agency or something.

First things first, the girl ,good job on that, you nailed the faceproportions.
The body looks good also.
Sadly the lines seems like they were done in either mspaint or by someone who is really shaky at inking. The shading youve done is pretty insignificant since it's blurs with the foreground and isn't of enough value. Try to work more with darker colors.
The text on the shirt isn't aligned, it's not something you are gonna get away with. If you have to do the text in photoshop try the deformation tools to align it.
Ok last, The swirling text...please get rid of that Crying the red bleeding color will only serve as the purpose of getting the attention and draw it away from the main focus, the girl.
Keep it up, I'd love to see another approach of this teaser poster.

Royal hit the nail right on the head. I suggest using the curved line tool when drawing lines--it guarantees that they'll be crisp and smooth. The picture of the girl, however, looks pretty cool, but the red transformations floating around are an eyesore--actually, only the large bold ones. Those hurt the image a lot, but the weaker ones in the background fit in nicely.

This probably doesn't belong here, but while the teaser info for Stop does sound interesting, the mid-march 1% demo is a big tip off for me that this game will never, ever be completed. I know when I work on a game, if it takes me more then a month, I've improved so much in my graphics/storytelling/battle design/etc that I'd have to redo everything I've already done to be happy with the results, so the game is never complete, and I end up eventually killing the project.

In short, if you’re coming out with a 1% demo, the chances of the community ever seeing the full version seem slim, especially if it’s going to take a few years.

It would be pointless to point out points that were pointed out before. (yeouch!) So that pretty much leaves me with color and an observation.

Color:
Yes, red is a power color, and a warm color... but there are studies that show it has more tendancy to drive people off than to attract people. This is why most ads don't use much red. Most people are attracted to their favorite colors, and statistically it's the cool colors that are most likely to be favored (statistically most people living in warm areas like cool colors and most people living in cool areas like warm colors... so guess where most of the world's population lives).

EDIT: Just in case anyone wonders, my fave color is wine red. That's why W.P1's red tower is... red.

Observation:
The lines remind me of the very first pic I did of Wingedmene (two days after I made the character for #Games_RPG, and a small while before I first found the OHR). The lines in that pic had a very similar quality but maybe not for the same reason yours does. When I did the Winger pic, my mouse had died so I was using the '95 keyboard mouse (read: number pad). Outside of the OHR, that was the first and last time I ever made a complete picture with only the keyboard. Took me three days to do it. Maybe someday I'll show you what the (I'd insert a bad word here, but I'm too lazy to come up with one) thing looks like.

Maybe it appears so. However, I have full intentions to not give up and to complete it. The only reason the demo is mid-march is due to an incredibly over-the-top school schedule (6am-10pm..gads).

However, I do plan on relasesing an entirely playable (and perhaps finished) game this summer.

Oh, and as for the "improvement" thing, I can completely relate. That killed The Crystal Globe after five months of development. I resolved to release first, fix later, so to speak. Or let my playtesters chew me out. >Big grin

Oh, and thank you everybody else for yoru comments. I have to confess; this is my first time seriously using photoshop and I kinda went over the top...I know it is an eyesore and I apologize...well...at least the anime is good...or something...ek. Rolling Eyes I should learn how to color in photoshop (she was colored in paint...gads)

Anyway, thanks a lot for all your comments. They really are taken in. Oookay...
