				| The following are recordings of what some BAMs sound like when I play on DosBox or VDMS:
 http://machu.250free.com/Broaste.mp3
 Broaste's Madness from Wandering Hamster
 http://machu.250free.com/Catacomb.mp3
Catacomb, which comes with the engine
 http://machu.250free.com/Lose.mp3
The game over song from Super Your Mom 4

Tell me, is this what BAMs are supposed to sound like, or at least, how the majority of people hear it? I don't want to go too far out of my way to compose BAMs in a different environment.

				| Yes. Yes it is. FM opl synth systems sound like this. If you ever used MAME to play older arcade games, they sound just like that. _________________

				| Those sound very much like they do on my computer. Only people who have sound cards that support FM/OPL2 music for real will sound any different. Some slightly better, some slightly worse.
VDMS's FM/OPL2 is good, and you can expect that what you hear there is very close to what other people will hear.

				| Y'know, I think some Genesis games sound like this as well.
Anyways, thanks for the answers. VDMS == Good basis for testing music.
