Oh yes...
Quote: | Seraphim hams it up too much to be a really potent villain. You could easily imagine him turning to the audience whenever he speaks, to make sure everyone can hear him clearly |
Well, first off I'm compressing a story into seven days, while trying to keep Seraphim's overall plans a mystery until the later days. If you've ever spoken/read arrogant people's works, they talk a lot like him. They elude the main subject and rather boast at what they've done (not saying they've done it until after you've been convinced what they've done is just incredible). This is just how arrogant people talk. If you've played almost any RPG, the main villians talk like this a lot. However, since Seraphim is actually dealing with what could be considered moral values, I'm sure it appears more preachy then other villians who are probably talking about crystels or whose father is whose or whatnot.
Also, I do not take sides in that. I am not on Seraphim's side. Then again, I'm not on Max's side either. Chris was created simply to balance out Seraphim's madness (as it lay, the game appeared to the casual viewer biased against science. The good guys were religious, the bad guys were scientifical. That's why Chris fit so well). If ANY of the opinions are close to what I believe in, it is what the Pope says at the very end (hence why it is at the end), but even that isn't dead on. The point is, don't take any of this as me telling you what I believe, because you'll probably get it wrong. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

A better way to interpret Uncommon's post would be "Get back on the topic". _________________

And you posted this why?????? another favorite villan I like is from the time flies saga. I can't recall the name, but the mystrious guy who sent the hero into the past and made him fight his best friend seems pretty evil. _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

Ah. Good point. But you would expect a genius like himself to understand that most interpretations of the creation are metaphorical rather than literal. _________________

Nice, Jun... And I nominate Fenrisulfur(sp)... He's the embodiment of nothingness, and practically god. Not to mention, Fenrir did a kick ass job with the the graphics dept. and development. Fenrisulfur was tremendous. HUGE! You can't beat that. Or can you? Correct me if I am wrong. It's been a long time since I saw that part of TSS. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

True, but he isn't REALLY a genius, he's just insane. I mean, if someone refuses to look at what his own creation does because he refuses to believe it can fail, he's definatly over the edge (or really arrogant).

I just keep poping up with these, the egg from Axel RPG. Anybody who's played it will know what I mean. _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

I'd say Seraph from FFH. I knew he was evil from the moment he finished off Astos. I just wasn't sure if Fenrir did.
Off Topic:
Seraph is obviously male. He looks like a man. He says stuff in a way no woman I can possibly imagine would. He dresses in gender-neutral garb, so that means nothing. Also, even if you didn't decide on a gender, the English language has a preferance for male-singular over plural pronouns.
Back on Topic:
Broaste. He's totally awesome.
Lord Shogun. Yes, he's a mindless oaf of a steriotypical samurai, but I just love redundant names .
Garland. He's so stupid he's adorable.
White from STOP. I know she's evil. Even though noone else will agree with me.
Adrian. Sure, he's the main character, but that doesn't make him good anymore than being American would make him fat. He lies. He swears.
Bad Linen. He's an obvious rip-off of Doctor Robotnic, but still a fairly cool villain in his own right.
The Four Backing Singers of the Apocalypse. Just another joke battle, but a good set of villains nonetheless.
Button from Don't Push the Button.
Wingedmene.
Kismet from Exposing the Unknown.

Hmm... lets see...
The headmaster from BLB... (only seen the letter's screenshot, but it displays villainous properties)...
Broaste's Ghost from Wandering Hamster...
that big rock golem thingy in Crecent Dream... still haven't beaten it...
Raekuul from Colora (he's like the rival), who nobody has seen...
That crab thingy in Neke (wow... how twisted was that guy???)...
