As the title suggests, Verdimea now has a 30-minute demo to play. I need anyone and everyone to play this game. I mostly worried about the graphics.
Note: The battles are quite difficult. I meant for it to be that way.
Enjoy! _________________ Calehay |

"In a world where everything seems true, maybe it is not."
EXCUSEMEBUTWHAT.
That is either very poorly worded, or just the worst story concept ever. |

In world that seems true, maybe it's not. Maybe we are all just fools for the green in our hearts.
It has to do with greed. The game mostly deals with how greed can make us look at a different world than others.
I was just attempting to be mystic, but I guess I failed. _________________ Calehay |

That's still poorly worded. Maybe it's not. That's not compelling at all. Maybe's don't get you anything. |

How? Maybe it'll help that someone says this in the game.
"In a world where everthing seems true"
This is what we see through our eyes. What *mini-spoiler* Verki says after being tricked by a certain person.
"maybe it is not."
A mixed confusion. Maybe what $#$$*@ said is true.
"Maybe we are all fools for the green in our hearts."
Maybe greed has altered our realities, or our perceptions of realitiy for that matter.
So, are you going to download the game? _________________ Calehay |

MAYBE'S MAKE FOR WEAK SENTENCES.
This maybe is telling me that I prolly won't want his game. |

Maybes make for confused sentences. A character who is thrown about and does not know the truth is bound to say maybe.
This line isn't even in the demo. It's much further down the road. _________________ Calehay |

The description now tells that it is a quote. I understand what you're saying about maybe's, but I'm sure that if you saw it in context, you would agree that there is no other way to say what I'm trying to say. _________________ Calehay |

The thing is, it doesn't flow well with the first part. Consider this:
"In a world where everything seems true...what if it isn't?"
"What if" conveys what you want a lot better.
"Maybe" is better for conveying uncertainty, while "what if" questions the current perception. |

I might take that into consideration when I get there. The rest of the conversation and the characters personality has a lot to do with it.
"What if" is a bit more scholarly of Philosophic.
"Maybe" is a bit more common, lowly, normal.
Verki would normally say Maybe. I'll have to see how his tone changes to really see what I want.
But really, is a little word like maybe going to stop you from even downloading my game? That seems so ridiculous. _________________ Calehay |

I'm removing it. I don't know why you went on about such a silly thing. I don't even know if this is going into the game. It was a quote that help me create the game. I'm guessing everyone else will do this too. _________________ Calehay |

One poorly phrase sentence at the beginning of the description can put a red flag over the whole thing. Your description is your way of telling the player why they should download your game. Yours failed.
And not just because of the first part, either. The whole thing is rather poorly thought out.
If you have any other misunderstandings about this, check the sig, deario. I don't take anything lightly.

Maybe that's your problem. Go back and read your description.
The whole thing screamed "I didn't think about it when I wrote this! Download my game! :flamedevil: :flamedevil: :flamedevil:" |

Maybe you shouldn't do that. Some people may not be able to explain their game all too well. Just because of that, it doesn't mean that they don't have a poetic way with words in dialogue. _________________ Calehay |
