They're putting NES games on GBA, and since NES > SNES, it obviously boosts it

Seiken Densetsu 3 (SNES)
Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Final Fantasy 4, 5, 6 (SNES)
...okay, let's throw in Final Fantasy 3 (NES).

Oh, and the best sidescroller ever? Yoshi's Island (SNES).

the best games ever are on snes, but they originated on the nes.

I still think mcw is batty, though. The NES is so archaic I can barely stand to play any of the games on it.

megaman 2 (nes)
sonic 3 and knuckles (genesis)
castlevania rondo of blood (turbo gfx 16)
castlevania 3 (nes)
waku waku 7 (neo geo)
megaman zero 2 (gba)
garou mark of the wolves (neo geo)
ssbm (gc)
street fighter alpha 3 (cps2(right?))
HOWEVER NES IS THE BEST ONE OF ALL OF THESE SYSTEMS.

NES? My neighbor has one. We play it a lot...

Kings of the Beach, PUNCH OUT, Mario, Castlevania 2, Lifeforce, Ninja Gaiden, Joust...

But I still like the SNES better. I mean it has Super Metroid, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Yoshi's Island, Mortal Kombat....

Have you played Yoshi's Island, MCW? It is the holy grail of all sidescrollers.

And, yes, we can give the CV and MM series to NES, but even so: Seiken Densetsu 2, 3; FF 4-6; Super Metroid; CT; MMX1-3; Lufia 1-2; Tales of Phantasia. (Oh, and for Shadow: the NG Trilogy.)

If you like RPGs at all, you have to hand it to the SNES. Only if you're a hardcore oldskool sidescroller geek can you have any grounds to say NES.

It's probobly nothing personal, Kahn, but they have just turned the topic of the thread. The number of submissions you have now is pretty good for day 3 (3, right?) and believe me, there are more to come.

That is only the test submission. I think I can conjur a better one later. Just remember what this thread is really for, yall.

LeRoY: that looks like a good plan for a title screen, but it looks cluttlered up with many pictures.

I have to say the best I've seen on thread so far is Orchard-L (Friend)
followed by Shadow's as a close second and third.
and a few of them are just ridiculous...
