Ok. Setu recently opened a competition in the MUSIC BAM forum featuring a picture that was twisted and torn and all that.
Jjkay wrote a peice for it, but she didnt really realise that it was for music instead of poems. Here on the ART forum, poems can be submitted, as they are a form of art.
I want to open a thread where people can compose poems according to the same picture. A competition.
Here is the picture:
Now I want to see poems. Any type of poems, even if it does not sound like a poem and doesnt rhyme. Just post it.
We shall have voting on the
20th of November

MAY MY WORK BE HEARD!!!!
Poem: (freeverse???): Bent Hell
Black sky, turn to dawn
Turn to dawn it never comes
Black sky of ever night
Ever dawn that never comes
That swirls reality at it's door
The darkness comes to realize
It bends, it twists, it finds no right
The darkness realizes
That it is mixing and swirling
The chair, the tower, the trees
It burns reality for what it is
The man stands, the edge of his hell
And he stares, and the dark dawn
The dead realities, the darkened dawn
The chair, the tower, the trees
And feels himself bending with it
Bending with reality itself
He falls, so slowly
In the half dawn light that never came _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

Ok. Heres mine :
Oceans bend, skys wirl
People cry, landscapes curl
hear the screeches deep inside
loneliness, nothing in pride
Turf of winds, low stealth
poor to nothing, run to wealth
bend the time, eat the corner
shed a tear. Greet a morner
Towers strech, nothing gained
shackled, earth. Here we chained
No one thing, depression near
Live life, tear at fear. _________________

Lost
When I regained my sight,
I felt little pain.
I was dressed in plain white.
The mood was insane.
The place, it looked so stern.
There was nothing to do.
In this place of auburn,
Will I meet who?
I ambled around
In the meadow of drought.
Loneliness abound.
True happiness I sought.
I finally found it.
A white tower sky-scraping.
I reclaimed my lost wit.
My emotion was changing.
It suddenly came back.
I was long dead and was missed.
But, confidence I lack.
I was about to deny this.
But, I hesitated.
I was looking for poise.
This is what is fated.
So, I had no true choice.
Death isn’t really the end of everything.
It’s the end of something, but it’s the beginning of a new thing.
It maybe full of strife outside
And full of dreary dread.
But there is a new life inside.
A warm, heavenly bed. _________________ The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on.

Now we can all see how pointless this is...no response for several days. Can we get this over with? _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

I think more people could get involved here. Three is fine and all, but there could be more.

Sorry. Like Leonhart said, I was preparing one for you.
~Around the desolate winds blew
~Carrying ghosts swiftly and slowly
~Where did all the people go? No one knew
~Nothing exists. All is dank and lowly
~Now the shade is creeping quicker
~To your bedroom door…
~The nighttime fog is getting thicker…
~An icy breath freezes your core…
~A finger runs lightly down your back…
~You want to turn to see what is there
~But your soul feels a little slack
~You can feel the tangible scare
~You turn and without warning
~There is a creature so empty yet full of sorrow
~It’s blank white eyes full of mourning
~You doubt you will ever see the marrow… _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
