Straight from Fenrir's obviously insane mind come two full color pictures of major characters from Timestream Saga Second Edition.

Kotaru Allowarse (Click here!)

Managarm Lunaris (Click here!)

More to come in the future. In the meantime, for those who've played the game, do these accurately reflect the characters? Your thoughts?

No, I will NOT link to the Pr0n.

Unless asked.

Okay.. that is just.. amazing... First of all, you don't have to worry about resemblence to the TSSE cast -- no problems there.. Also.. I really like the coloring and everything.... Yeah.. that's about it.

This comment will probably stir a lot of controversy, but Fenrir, you are far too good at art to be using the OHR. Considering all the limitations of the OHR, I believe you could be making some truly beautiful games with C++ or whatnot.

Hmmm...

You've done an excellent job as far as the design, composition and graphic quality are concerned.

What I dislike is the colouring (particularly for the Kotaru design). It appears to be an afterthought: colours are limited and used sparingly, and it doesn't look like you finished the job (what's up with Kotaru's gloves and leg bracelets?!). Really confused

More concerning, however, is the relationship between the pencil art and the colouring... there is none! The colour is much more dominating and eye-catching than the pale pencil work, and as such, the pencil sketch is harder to focus on. This is particularly annoying when the pencil art is about 7/8 of the design.
Pissed off!

White backgrounds aren't helping the situation either, heh.

Regardless... keep the artwork coming.

I may also point out that there was no rough sketch with either of these two. I went straight from ink, THEN colored them. And my backgrounds suck. Gotta get some good looking backdrops or something.

One little thing I did notice is that Kotaru doesn't look balanced. It looks like he's on his tip-toes or something, and should be falling backwards.

Furry pRon? I think they call that YIFF (or MIFF, I always get those two confused)...Anyway, your artwork should be sent in to Squaresoft or something (after copyright of course).
As for art, you've seen the kind of stuff I do, and I honestly admit to you that I can't draw crap on paper. For some reason I can only do semi-good quality art on a computer. I never figured that out.
