..Crescent Dream is being redone with 100% effort actually ,and it's gonna involve text box faces..so i used serg's script for that.everything is going well but i must ask:what parts of the script will i change if in case i want the text box with face in the upper part of the screen?coz sometimes the hero will be on the lower half of the screen so i want them to be visible still by puting the textbox up.so how? |

Change the "heroy+1," "heroy+2," etc. to lower values. I'm not sure what those should be, exactly, but it's probably an offset of around 5. ("heroy--4," "heroy--3," etc.)
You'll need to do this for the box script and the face script. _________________

..no,leonheart,not yet.crescent dream was just a test game to see if i can do good in plotscripting and graphics,actually.my real game in production were crucial destiny,but it was totally wiped out by a virus.
..anyway,the offset of 5 did pretty well.6 was too much.  |

6 works fine for me with the original faces script, but you must have changed the shape of the pieces of the box, meh

..oh..well let me try again..maybe it looked bad on my game because i activated an npc near the edge of the map,which affected the hero's position.
..yeah,CD is a testing game,but because of the reviews and inspirations,i know what to change and improve.  |

Yea. This is going to be awsome when you get the faces of the exam contenders on them (Assuming you'll go that far with the game before you start the real one).
The next evolution for text box faces is to create some sort of 'loop' where the face can blink (I don't know jack shit about plot scripting, but meh).
PS: The song I am composing for yeh' is nearly ready, and everyone I have shown it to says it's the best one I've done yet. I almost don't want to give it away, but I should. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
