I played it, and I must first complain about the intro: textboxs go by impossibly fast! Remember, 18 ticks to a second, 45 ticks is not long enough to read all that : ( I'm not a slow reader, but do I prefer reading my textboxs slowly as well.
I have a unique solution: I decompile the scripts, double every wait I find following a textbox, compile, reimport, play it satisfied, and then delete so I don't mix it up with the original. But better than doubling wait times: using waitfortextbox instead!
YUCK. SQUARE TREES ARE NO : (
Also, why did you have a mini-maze leading to nowhere? Thats not nice to players who bother to check every corner (though I used debug keys in is case)
And, PLEASE, tell the player when the demo is over!
Overall, while I didn't find it of much interest, I don't find many games of interest anymore, and I'll leave someone else to tell you how it was. I didn't loath it _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

It does have an ending. I used the maze for testing, It's not supposed to go anywhere. And the starting was made with a slower computer
Sparrow's computer is slower than mine. I'll revise it this week or later . |

Graphics are fair. Story line is okay. Don't cram textboxes with what everyone says. It creates slow tension to have a seperate text box for each person.
The story could really go somewhere, but right now it's pretty null. If this is your first game, I congradulate you. You did waaaay better than my first game. _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

Your point is? Joke games should be taken just as seriously as non-humorous games. You can't write them off just because they were joke games. I mean, some of the best releases this year were joke games. |

Yeah, it's pretty hard to make a totally serious game and have everyone take it seriously, and be good.
I don't think that makes sense. _________________ The Following Statement is True.

Yeah, "To be a Hero" was a serious game but..ah well it sucked so nobody took it seriously(even me). Mostly graphics sucked, but the storyline was way too trying. _________________ A man once said to the Universe "Sir! I exist!"

Oh, shoot, I forgot Gil's games. Those weren't joke ones and were still excellent.
Also, Sword of Jade is due out in four days, one hour, and forty minutes, so there may still be a serious game worth playing this year. _________________
