Yeah, usually middle school starts around 6/7th grade.
My new home has three of these, but my first only has one.

You know, it's a common misconception that all schools in the Americas divide their grades like the school attended by (insert person here). All the schools in east Arizona divide the grades this way:
Kindergarten - 3rd (Elementary)
4th - 6th (Mid)
7th - 8th (Junior)
9th - 12th (High)
But not far beyond the 3A confrence schools start dividing grades differently. Alphaknight's school had no divisions because his town was so small that all the grades fit inside one building. The pastor of my church went to a high school that started with 8th grade ("sub-freshmen"). _________________ LJ.Art

Alright, that's exactly the same as ours, but the last half of Elementary school is called mid school. I understand now.

I was annoyed that I couldn't find any good RPGs for PC. I did a search and ended up finding RPG Toolkit. I was unsatisfied with it though ( graphics editor, scripting, etc) and searched for more RPG engines and eventually found the OHR from this place: http://www.ambrosine.com/resource.html |

I remember now... I was looking for two games, a game called Xatax, and One Must Fall 2097. (anyone else remember OMF?) I typed them into google, then the first thing that came up was this. I went there, found the games, and on the left toolbar I saw game creation systems, scrolled past all the crappy ones, and found OHR. _________________ Missing in Action

I went to a friend's house, and he's like, "Hey man, I have this really funny game where you're a hamster and you bash up stuff with a mallet!" I thought this was pretty funny so...well...the rest is obvious. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

Gosh...how long ago was it? Probably in 1997, I stumbled on the premier game creation engine ZZT on AOL. Those were the days when ZZT was pretty much an AOL community. When AOL decided to stop hosting ZZT games, the whole community, me included, were pushed out into the internet. By following some creative links, I was caught up in the MegaZeux community for about a year (is it still around?) and then while doing a basic search to find an RPG maker (there was this big push at the time to be able to make a good RPG with MZ). And from there I found the OHR for the first time. |

Most likely in 1997; it was mentioned in a verge board by someone. At that time the engine's still pretty rough so I didn't use it right off the bat.

I also found the OHRRPGCE through Verge, which I bludgeoned through for a few months. I was frustrated at the lack of quality games I saw being created with Verge at the time (probably not fair to the engine if no one knows how to use it) and I started searching for other RPG engines. Low and behold, the Hamster Republic site came up and I was intrigued by the name and the site itself. I acquired the engine maybe 2 years ago and have yet to produce a finished product, but at least my attempts at games have become more pleasant throughout the process. |

I stumbled onto Hamster Republic while searching for...ummm.... Super Dante RPG Maker (RPG Maker for the SNES) . When I first found it, there wasn't Mouse Support so I didn't bother with it. Afterward I found Verge and got terribly confused. A couple of months later, I came back to the OHR and it was updated. |
