"Him" said Thomas, giving the H such a value that you knew it was capitalized. "I'm not sure exactly Who, but It's a god."
"But what do they... It.. He want?"
Thomas gave an elaborate sort of shrug. "Good question. I'm not sure. Occasionally, after one of the extractions, you'll wake up before they expect you to. You can listen in, sometimes. Last time it happened to me, I heard... Something. What... Ah yes. 'Soon, He shall be the only god. All others will perish, when He returns."

* * * * *

Grey straightened up, feeling suddenly weak. He yawned, which, now He thought about it, was a rather un-romantic thing to do on what was, He was sure, would be His last great story.

(Note the capital 'H' when referring to Grey.)[/i]

Grey stood up and brushed himself off. He pulled out a compass from the inside of his jacket and held it out. For this was no mere compass. It was enchanted and would always point to the direction the holder wanted to go.
And since Grey was searching for Cindy, it pointed towards her.
"Don't worry Cindy. I will be there soon." Grey said and pushed onwards through the dark night sky.

------------------

"Who is Osiris?" Cindy asked as she stared at both hers and Thomas' scars.
"Osiris is the ultimate being composed of drained vessals. He drains the energy that those who lost their soul and uses it to make himself stronger. He is still very weak, but based on the size of that scar, his mind is even stronger..."
".... I don't like this."
"I don't either, but unfortuntely, we don't have a choice, now do you want me to tell you how to fight off the extractions?"

The green, glowing slit on Cindy's arm begged the answer for his question. It seemed so unreal to Cindy, having a boy in which she hardly knew telling her how to ward off powers from limitlessly powerful gods. She didn't even notice that Thomas had moved over to her and was examining her arm.
"I'll attempt to open the wound a little so that more of your spiritual power will be able to block it," he said. "This might hurt a little, but do your best not to scream."
The subtle sound of ripping flesh made a part of Cindy sick inside.
"Sh*t!" exclaimed Thomas as he stumbled back from Cindy.
"What is it?" Cindy asked, but here answers were soon answered when a pocket-sized impish looking demon came from out of her wound. Cindy screamed and went into a corner, wishing this was all just a bad dream.

----------------------
Grey had walked for hours and hours. He had to push on, to save- to get- Cindy from the clutches of Osiris. He had to, he owed it to her parents, but He wanted the girl so bad. "He" could almost taste the limitless power that He would recieve if he wasn't in the way. "He" said to himself, "Such a fool, he thinks that he will win while I have homeside advantage."
Grey hurried on to where the compass directed him and Him, hoping to avoid the worst case scenario.

(***I used He, he, and "He" for a reason. I just want to clarify that I'm just not using bad capatalization.***)

Grey stepped out onto the street outside Cindy's residents. Cindy's parents came striding after him. Her father haulted next to grey and fell to his knees. He began to weep profusely. Her mother to hung on his shoulders.
"How did they find us? Why did this happen so soon. We couldn't even s-stop it." She sniffled violently.

Grey seemed helpless. His frown and furrowed brow lowered and he sighed. "I wish I knew how you too feel right now. I won't stop until I find her. Don't worry."

Cindy's father regained some composer, but a harsh sad tone still lingered on his breath. "How did those bastards do this?! We were fine for years. They could not have found us."

"I wish I knew the answer, brother..." Grey felt frantically around on the cement road, like he had lost a contact lense. "If they took her through a gate, then I am sure it hasn't gotten too far by now."

"We can find it and use it?" Cindy's father propped himself up using his wife for leverage.

"Doubtful. It'll be like looking for a puzzle piece in a toy factory."

A semi truck's loud engine was heard as it turned the corner. the three did not move an inch.

"We are wasting our time looking for magic!" Cindy's mother shouted angrilly.

"Yes. That is why we must fly to Egypt." Grey shot up and thrust his amulet into the air just as a truck came bellowing towards them. The truck tried to swerve, and it would have hit them all too. However, the three vanished like a bubble on the tip of a dagger. They were gone.

*****

The strange imp resembled a monkey. It hobbled on just three legs cautiously but menacingly towards Cindy and Thomas. Thomas pulled a dagger out of his pocket. The weapon glowed with a green aura and flashed sparks at the strange beast as it got nearer.

"Stay back, Muht! I will not let you have our souls!" Thomas bellowed at the strange three legged thing and waved his shining green dirk.

It's eyes widened and a hideously grotesque grin spread across it's wrinkled monkey face. "Muht will tear out your heart and feed it to the Nile..."

"Ih-It knows O-Our language?" Cindy squeeked.

Thomas shook his head, his dread locks bobbing. "Sort of."
His dagger flickerred as if it was about to go out like a torch.
"But why did they summon this thing to our plane?" Thomas's mouth grew dry. He felt like his soul was being jerked and trying to yank away from him as Muht stumbled closer.
"Muht is the minion of Osiris. He weighs the heart of the dead man to see if their deeds make them worthy to cross over to the next life. He has no reason to be here!" Before Thomas thrust his dagger at it, the man with long green hair emerged from around the cell...

{I don't have time to add right now, just want to clarify for LeRoy that Grey is a He, not a he. I.E., a god. Like Osiris. Maybe you're doing what Calehay was doing (Making Him a Him and a him), but...}

"Thomas. I thought you would have learned by now." the green haired man said and thrust out his hand towards Tom. Thomas shot backwards and hit the brick wall behind him quite hard. He was out like a light.

"Wh-WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" Cindy screamed. With that the Muht disappeared and sort of burst into dust.

"Stupid girl. If not for your pathetic vessal to use for the coming of Osiris, we would have killed you by now. But fortunately, we must place Muhts inside of you empty vessals so that they will make sure you do not slip away to the afterlife with your soul. They have the power to overcome ones mind while they are inside."

".......Wh-Who is th-this Osiris?"

"Haha. I will show you him. Right this way." the green haired man said and then walked up to the invisible wall and opened it and Cindy slowly walked out. But the man walked over to Thomas and knelt down beside him.
"You won't be needing this anymore Thomas." the green haired man said and broke the dagger into a thousand pieces.

The green man sealed the invisible wall behind him, as he left. His arm was wrapped around Cindy's, and she felt slightly uncomfortable about the way he kept looking at her. A green door was at the end of a long hallway, and each step brought them closer to it. Cindy asked "Where are you taking me?!" but the only answer she got was a sneer. He opened the door roughly, and tossed her inside. With a smooth motion, he shut and locked the door, removing his trenchcoat, and tossing it into the corner.

"Your friend was wise. Too wise for his own good, his own punishment will come, but first, my dear, we must settle the matter of your sentence." The Trenchcoat man seemed slightly anxious as he said this, and his words carried little weight. He was leering up and down her body.

Cindy took the moment to look around the room. It seemed plain, yet, the floors were made out of a bizarre substance. It looked like white marble, yet, somehow, it cushed in, like a pillow. The entire room seemed to be made of the stuff, and a bizarre green light had just begun to filter in through the roof. "What're you going to do to me?!"
she pleaded.

The Trenchcoat man seemed amused. "My dear, half the fun is in the surprise."
He raised his hand up in front of his face, and snapped his fingers. Without so much as a warning, a blindfold appeared skintight over Cindy's eyes. She screamed, but she knew it was to no avail. She smelled smoke now, somewhat like tobacco. It relaxed her, she couldn't quite raise her muscles, and she was suddenly less aware of anything around her, and much more aware of her own thoughts. It was cold though. Strangely cold. Then, she felt the beginning of the warmth.

It began between her legs, with a steady beat, she could feel the warmth. It felt good, she wanted to try and help it along anyway she could. She couldn't smell the smoke anymore, and everything in the world seemed to fade away, into a warmth between her legs. It started in her breasts a moment later. It was only after a few minutes of this, that she realized the horrible truth: The man in the trenchcoat was raping her.

Suddenly, the world seemed more clear. She could feel his weight on top of her, smell the bizarre scent of his body, hear his grunting and sighing. She tried to scream, but her vocal cords managed only a gasp.

"Don't you DARE protest this, my dear! You brought it on yourself! When you allowed Tom to slit your arm even further, he knew damned well he was ruining the most powerful spot to drain the essence of a person. But now, there's only this." He began to laugh, and she felt him thrust harder. She tried to struggle, to do anything to resist, but she was unable. The warmth began to tide in again, hazing her perception.

The next thing she was clearly aware of, was a loud bam! She could hear familliar voices... Grey.... Thomas... Dad!! "I'm saved!" she thought to herself, suddenly with a new urge to fight. She tried once again to use her muscles. Her leg twitched, but nothing more. The voices became clearer now. She could hear Thomas pleading, something. Insisting there was another way. Dad and Grey seemed equally determined.. It was the only way to ensure her safety.

"Are they discussing killing this man?" she was wondering, when she first felt the cold. It began on her rear. But it too was spreading up and down her back, and through her legs. It was like the first kiss of winter, a pleasant contrast to the heat of summer. It wasn't an oppressive or bitter cold, it was strangely pleasant. She suddenly realized the source of the argument. They were going to save her the same way the green man wanted to steal her. She was being sandwiched, and two forces were violating her for her soul.

She heard Grey whisper, not in her ear, but in her heart. "Don't worry. I know this is terrible, but it's the only way. The demon is dulling your senses, and it's probably best you don't know what's being done to you. Just relax, and have faith we'll pull you through."

Thomas was watching, but couldn't believe it. Cindy's gorgeous body was lying exposed on the ground. Most of it was green, and her eyes were closed far more stilly than any living thing should be. If not for her breathing, and slight movings of her legs, he would've guessed she was dead.

Grey and the Green man were each having sex with her, Grey from the back, and Green from the front. A surreal aura seemed to exude from the point of violation, in Grey's case a brilliant white, in Green's case a sickly green, and it covered her body like a thin fog. The green was beating away the white, and now only the littlest bit of her backside was still white. Grey's face suddenly broke wide open, and He bellowed out "Help Me, brother! I'm losing!".

Ken didn't hesitate a moment. In a flash, he was there, naked and behind Grey. He showed no problem with the fact he was going to sodomize his Brother. It just happened all of a sudden, and the white became even more powerful. It was beating the Green back now, and her body seemed to become more and more alive with each thrust.

Cindy heard her father's voice now, in the same strange manner she'd heard Grey's. "Don't be afraid, Cindy. This is just the only output for the human spirit. We're reinforcing your spirit with ours, and that man is trying to steal yours just the same way. Focus on the cold, my love. Focus on it, and you'll have won your first battle in a long, long war."

Cindy tried her hardest. Pushed everything out of her mind. All that was left was the white, the cold! Like lying down and making a snow angel, as the ivory flakes caress your face. She couldn't feel anything else other than that brilliant cold. Her eyes shot open, she could move! She let out a giant moan of ecstasy as she felt the pure energy coarse through her. The white flashed, and Thomas couldn't see anything. All he could see and hear was the white, and her moaning...

The light cleared.
The dust settled.
And as the climax ended, and Cindy could finally breath again, she found her surroundings had changed considerably. The soft white cushions had burned away in a circle five feet around her, and in front, just beyond it, she saw a blackened corpse. Its robes, in near perfect condition, draped about it, its green hair scorched and shortened, and skin burnt to a crisp ebony. But worst were its eyes. They stared into hers determinedly, and, though dead, held such an unsettling fire in them as to yield the heart of the bravest warrior. She gasped so quickly that she forgot that she had been holding her breath and started coughing wildly. Thomas ran up to her and draped a long, black trenchcoat around her. One of the Organization's, no doubt, but one can't be picky at times like this.
"Osiris," Grey started, from behind them. He was fully clothed as if He always had been, and holding His cane in both hands. He continued, "It is not easy to kill a god, this is true, but as surely as I stand here, Cindy, you have managed it. His vile schemes end here."
"B-but...how?" Cindy inquired, her mind like a jigsaw puzzle that had been tossed on the floor, leaving all the pieces scattered. She tried to bring them back together, but even when she fit each curve and angle, the resulting picture was still blurred, obscure, as if seen from a distance.
"You may not have your soul, dear," her father answered, buttoning up his shirt, "but the power of your spirit is still strong! You took the power we gave you and manifested it into such a sheer power that only those without souls can tap into!"
"A sheer power that can kill even a god," Grey added. He then put His cane to the ground and beckoned to her. "But come, it is hardly over yet, and when the Organization find out that their master is dead, they'll certainly retaliate. We must get you out of here."
With that, He rubbed His hand against the wall in a circular motion, and chanted quietly. As He pulled His hand back, a portal opened, gradually widening to the floor. He stood there silently for a moment, almost as if to gather himself. "Egypt is now out of the question I'm afraid," He finally said. "They'll be waiting there, you see. The only way to reunite you with your soul..." He paused, glancing at her father, and letting out a deep sigh, "...is directly."
"What do you mean, 'directly'?" she asked, her head still foggy.
"H-He means," Cindy's father broke in, his voice cracking, and tears welling up in his eyes, "He means you'll have to go to, to Purgatory yourself and...find her..."
"I'm afraid," Grey continued, "you won't be coming back."
Like a ton of bricks it hit her.
Like a freight train running late.
Like hitting the ground from 100 feet.
It hit hard.
"You mean, I'll die? For good this time? No normal life, no future, just the end?" she would have said, but she choked on the second word, her voice breaking into less than a whisper. She felt cheated. She felt betrayed. She felt like she'd come all this way just to be crushed under fate's cruel heel. The tears were pouring out by now, there was no point holding them back.
She ran into her father's arms and begged him to tell her it wasn't true, it wasn't the way it had to be. He wanted so much to tell her, but he couldn't. He couldn't because it really was the way it had to be, and nothing he could do or say could change that. So, instead, he kissed her on the forehead, told her he would always love her, and walked her to Grey's side.
The Tall Old Man knelt down and put His hand on Cindy's shoulder. With His other hand, he held hers, and when he had released it, showed that he had put the golden coin on the silver chain that he had shown her before in it. "You'll be needing this," He told her. She grasped it tightly, reassuring herself with its weight. "Keep it with you," He continued. "It will protect you from most of the Orcan hazards."
He then turned quickly. "Well, aren't you coming?" he snapped at Thomas.
"Uh, me?" Thomas answered dumbly.
"Yes, you!" Grey replied. "Certainly you didn't expect us to send a young lady into the bowels of Hades on her own? The Road to Purgatory is a perilous one, you see. After all, didn't you have a soul that was separated from you, as well?"
Without a word, Thomas shot up and stood at her side. She slid the coin around her neck. Solemnly, they said their goodbyes, and the two of them stepped into the unknown.

***

When they came out, they found themselves at a river, though it might've been a stretch to call it a river. It was black as sin and seemed to flow with, not water, but pure hate. It ran like a snake, a snake that delivered its venomous hate wherever it ran. And the smell. Oh, God, the smell. Somewhere between rotting flesh and sulphur was the scent that emanated from this river of hate. They were standing on the edge of the River Styx.
As they took in this new, most vile terrain, a small ferry floated toward them. Driving it was an old, sickly man. He looked emaciated, with his skin clinging tightly to his bones. His head was bald, and his beard long and wiry. With small, dark eyes, he looked them over before he met them at the edge.
"Where is your token?" he asked them as he arrived.
"Our...what?" Thomas asked.
"Your token, your token! No one crosses the River Styx without paying the toll!" he insisted.
"We don't have a token..." Thomas said, a little embarrassed.
"Not even the smallest of coins?" the ferryman asked.
"All we have is this," Cindy stated, holding up the coin around her neck.
The ferryman took a step back in awe. "By the gods!" he exclaimed. "Never before have I seen someone given the protection of the Sun, especially in these dark lands! You must have the favor of Ra himself! Come, come, I need see no more! You're certainly worthy to ride with old Charon across the Black River," he said, motioning them aboard the small boat.
They were halfway across the river when Cindy asked, "Excuse me, Charon?"
"Yes, yes, that is my name! What do you need?" he inquired kindly.
"We're trying to make our way into Purgatory," she said.
"My! I see why you'd need the Sun, indeed! A rough journey, she is, the Road to Purgatory," he proclaimed.
"So we've heard," Thomas muttered.
"Not too cheery for the journey, I see?" Charon observed. "Well, you'd best perk those spirits, young man, it'll only get harder from here! You'll need to keep optimistic if you're going to get through this! Past Cerberus' gate, it will take you two weeks to walk, but the length is the least of your worries. The Sphinx stands beyond the gates, and assuming you can answer her riddle, she'll let you pass to the Eight Crossroads. Only one will lead to Purgatory, where your going, and the Elysian beyond. It's the one in the middle left! Remember that! The other seven will lead to the circles of Hell, a place you certainly don't want to go! Beyond that, you should be able to make it on your own, if you don't lose your road and can stand the perils along that way."
The boat reached the other side. Cindy and Thomas got off solemnly. Cindy turned to face him. "Thank you, you've been very kind and most helpful," she said.
As he pulled away from the river bank, he called back, "I've other souls to ferry, but good luck to you! Remember, middle left!"

It wasn't long before they reached the Gates of Hell. They was open wide, waiting to accept them. A little hesitant, they had finally resolved to pass through them when a huge, black dog crossed through it to meet them. Its three mouths drooling, its six eyes a searing red, its three heads all facing the two of them. Cerberus, with all three heads, stared them straight in the face. "What have we here?" he growled.
"W-we wish to enter these gates..." Cindy replied, weakly.
"Like Hell you do," Cerberus replied. "No one ever wants to enter these gates. They spend their whole lives trying to avoid them, but they all end up down this way anyway. I've guarded these gates for thousands of years and devoured pieces of shit more steadfast than you. Why should you want to pass these gates when they wouldn't?"
"We're looking for the Road to Purgatory," she said, irritation adding strength to her voice.
"You think some weak little fuck like you can travel the Road to Purgatory unscathed? What kind of bullshit are you trying to pull? What do you think will get you across the Lake of Fire or through Well of Souls?" he said, sneering.
With all the determination she could muster, Cindy held the coin aloft.
"This."
All the smugness suddenly drained from Cerberus' face. He was terrified. With a yelp, he backed into the corner, his eyes wide as saucers, whining to himself, "W-where the fuck could t-that, that little bitch get the fucking Sun of Ra?!"
With a satisfied grin, Cindy crossed into the depths of Hades, Thomas close behind.

They knew they were on their own. Just Cindy and Thomas. By some unknown will, Cindy was able to forget as much as she could about the horrendous green haired man. It was so bizare that... well, she forgot, and so it doesn't matter anymore.

After a week and a half Cindy and Thomas were confronted. By... a red haired man in an Organization cloak. He was holding a large two sided sword and held it over his shoulder.
"What are you doing here, Jakavich?!" Thomas screamed.
"You have somehow killed Osiris... For that... the Organization has no purpose. But it seems through this girl we have a new allegiance. For she is the one who had the will to kill him. So clearly she is the stronger one. Ms. Cindy. The Organization is at your disposal. We will do any and everything to help you."
"Not that green haired guy right? I don't..." Cindy said and looked at the ground.
"He is dead, you need not worry about him anymore. There is one other, besides myself left in the Organization. He is at the crossroads. My job is to make it sure you get past the Sphinx and reach him."
Together, the three of them walked through the starlit roads to a very pecuilar spot. There was an endless sea of sand enveloping the Earth. They were in the desert, clearly. And the Sphix was blocking the road.

"Sphinx! Move out of the way!" Jakavich commanded and he thrust the sword outwards towards it.
"Not without you solving my riddles. For each one of you to pass, each must solve one riddle on your own. One for the girl, the boy, and you." the Sphinx said and it rolled it's eyes and then focused them back on the trio.
"Riddle Number One if you please." Cindy said and took a step forward.

"Alright then," said the sphinx, "Here is the first riddle

What is on four legs in the morning,
Two legs in the afternoon,
And three legs at night?"

"Oh!" Cindy exclaimed, "That's easy! It's a human!"

"Correct," said the sphinx, smiling, "You may pass, witch road do you take?"

Cindy glanced at the paths before her, the boatkepeer had said middle...middle. Middle left? It looked the most dangerous by far, shaded by dead trees that clawed at the sky and blocked out the sun. She stepped forward on the path. Everything went black, she could no longer see Thomas or Red, or anything for that matter. She decided to stay and wait for them, it would be better if she did, she was a bit nervous going into Purgatory alone. She sat down. She had been so afraid the entire time she had gone through this, but now she was calm. It was almost over, this was where she was supposed to be, and soon Thomas and Jakavich would be joining her.

***

Thomas watched as Cindy dissapeared, then he turned to the sphinx.

"Okay, lay it on me!"

"You're an eager one!" the sphinx smiled wider, showing her sharp teeth. "Here we are!
What is the size of the universe,
And small as a pea.
What every poor man has,
And no rich man wants?"

Thomas blinked, this was harder than the one before. He had no idea.

"How many guesses do I get again?" he asked shakily.

"One and only one," the sphinx replied, leering.

Thomas thought hard, what was huge and small...one size fits all? Ha, a ryme and a stupid thing, but the rich would have that, not the poor. Umm...could it be space? It was pretty big, and it could be small, but the rich have more of that too...damn this is hard...not that that would help much either...this is so stupid! I HATE riddles!

"Nothing is like that, what a dumb riddle!" he shouted out in rage.

"Yes, you may pass."

Thomas's eyes flew open. Nothing was the answer? He thought about it, and let out a small laugh. He hated riddles so much right now...He stepped on the path leading to Cindy.

"One more riddle," said the sphinx, turning to Jakavich, "And it's a tough one!
What runs and runs but never walks
Has a tounge but does not talk
Is red and green, and sometimes blue.
What is it?"

Jakavich stared at her he had no idea.

"Um, a river?"

"Wrong, sorry." She grinned the widest and jumped on him. His swords fell to the ground, usless. Jakavich's scream was cut short as she bit into his neck to silence him. She pawed at his chest and tore it open, exposing the heart. "I know an alligator is supposed to do this, but I've always wanted to try." Her jaws closed and devoured the still-beating heart. Jakavich's soul was eaten.

The twisted dead trees swayed above Cindy's head like grizzly boney fingers groping at the inpenetratable sky. She stared up at the clouds, which writhed and gurgled. It was like nothing on Earth. The silence almost stole her breath.

The peace was broken when a body was chucked from a split in the sky and landed snuggly into on of the firm arms of dead branches. He coughed like he had inhaled water during his trip through the portal.

"Thomas!" Cindy was surprised and infinitely glad to see he made it.
"Oh thank god, Thomas! I was so worried."

"Yea right..." Thomas brushed himself off angrily, still mad that all of this had occurred. He felt like the unluckiest being in the universe.

"Should we wait for Red hair?" Cindy said uneasily.

"Not that moocher." Thomas huffed. "He's only going to bring trouble later."

"But he said there was another guy. If we don't show up to that other guy with Red hair, then..."

Thomas thought silently for a moment. "It shouldn't be taking him this long. Maybe he didn't make it?"

Cindy stood up and shook the dust from her jeans. "He seemed confident. And smart."

"Bah." Thomas sneered with a feint hint of jealousy in his tone.

After a short while, they decided to move on. They knew they were taking a risk. They were not sure what the other guy would do to them if he found them without his partner's guidance.

The road seemed to grow so narrow that they could not stand side by side any more. The trees bent in towards them, and they could hear airy moans coming from the branches that sounded Human.

Lingering among the groans and pleads for help, one of them sounded out directly above them. "Aoogh... Help... Can't... Breath..." The sound echoed around the two and Thomas, who was now in front of Cindy, came to an abrupt halt.

"Thomas? What was that?" Cindy squeaked.

"Spirits of those who were hung..." Thomas shuddered. "Forever, their essence lingers here to suffer eternity." A branch bent with an invisible weight toward Thomas. A dimly lit figure appeared hanging from it, and its mouth drooped open. The thing's tongue writhed inside it's slightly transparent mouth and it gurgled words that Thomas barely understood.

Cindy jumped back and started to run away, but Thomas stayed her with his hand on her shoulder.

"Y-You!" Thomas stuttered. "How do we get to the Nexus from here?"

"The Nexus?" Cindy inquired, but was cut off by a loud gurgling scream.

"STAY AWAY FROM THE NEXUS!" The hanging spirit's voice bounced off of the two of them and around the closing trees.

The mad scream still echoed when Thomas snapped back. "We have to find it! Our souls are leaving us, and we have to stop them!"

Thomas flashed the protection of Ra. "Tell us what is ahead at least, and Ra will spare you!" However, this had no effect on this spirit. It gazed at the two of them with it's pulsing and bulging eyes as if Thomas had nothing... Nothing at all...

(Hehehehehehe.)

The coin around Cindy's neck glowed a bright color and it flashed into the light of Ra and it hit the hanging spirit. The combined force made the spirit.... Whole. As in, it got a very light body.

" What have you done to me?! " The spirit commanded.

"I-I don't know..." Cindy replied and with that the spirit's body disappeared. And where the spirit stood, there was an arrow, pointing east.

"I understand now! The power of Ra cannot work on the souls, but combined with your amulet, it has the power to answer questions deep within our minds." Thomas burst out.

Cindy looked deep into Thomas's eyes and they began to water. She didn't know what to do, but the confidence in Tom's voice gave her reassurance that everything would be okay. She had never felt this sort of compassion towards another human being in her life. With that, she looked him in the eyes and then kissed him softly on the lips.

"What was that for?" Thomas asked as he blushed.

"For giving me hope. Now come on." Cindy said and the two of them followed the direction the arrow had been pointing, holding hands and not letting go. They were getting furthur and furthur from the safe road, and closer and closer to the road to Purgatory. But they knew one thing, and only one thing. Even if they couldnt' find Purgatory, wherever they were going, whatever they would face, they would do it together.

I Hate This Story. BUT I HAVE TO KNOW THE ENDING!!!!!!!!

I Hate Revivals. BUT I HAVE TO KNOW THE ENDING!!!!!!!!

Somebody sue me.

Cindy and Thomas trampled on as things got darker and darker around them as Purgatory grew nearer. The warmth of their joined hands gave them courage, and that courage grew the nearer they got. Sudenly, Cindy skidded to a halt and flung out her arm to stop Thomas. They both gaped in horror at the sight before them.

It was a huge void. Screams echoed from the chasam of those being stripped from thier being and clenesed to enter the good world beyond. Cindy gripped Thomas's hand harder than ever.

"Jump, together," she said, taking control, "On three." A bead of sweat dripped down from her forehead as a loud wail came from the void.

Thomas forced a grin, "Why not four?" he laughed shakily.

"Four then," she said holding firm. "One," they got ready to jump, "Two," Thomas and Cindy looked at each other, "Th-"

Her words were cut off by a light kiss from Thomas.

"Four...." they fell into the void.

SOMEONE FINISH IT ALREADY!!!!

Together they jumped. Jumped into the empty vast void... They landed in some sort of a foggy graveyard like place. But not the type of graveyard you go to bury people... No.... the kind that you stay away from and pray to God you never have to go there. But through the mist of fog and shattered graves there was a lighthouse. And the most peculiar thing was happening... Through the beam of light was not just light, but that of souls. Souls being shot all the way accross the purgatory. To heavan, because of the angle of the light.

"So you have finally arrived." a hooded man said and walked through the fog to greet them.

"Errr... who are you?!" Cindy replied.

The man took off his hood and greeted them. " I am the last living person you will ever see children. For I am not just a member of the Organization, I am the keeper of Purgatory. In order for your souls to reach that of heavan, you must pass me or else you will go to hell."

"But that other man said you would help us!" Thomas screamed.

"Help you? Ha, I just did. I could have snuck up on you and then slayed you both with one clean swipe." And with that the man drew out a very vicious sword. Covered in an endless amount of dripping blood as he ran his finger up the blade and then licked his finger.

Thomas quickly searched for a weapon as Cindy stared at the man in an endless gasp. It seemed the more she stared, the more the coin around her neck glowed. And then Thomas realized it. He saw Cindy's coin! He knew what to do!! So he ran over to her, and then pulled Cindy's coin upwards and held it at the man. The coin was now growing so much that it emitted a large beam of light, to which produced a long light sword. It fell to the ground and rendered Cindy unconcious.

"Hmmmm... Seems as if you all are clearly underestimated." the man said and then dashed at Thomas just as he was able to grab the light sword and deflect his swipe.

"Clearly." Thomas said and then slashed upwards to push the man away. Then without a thought, Thomas japped in and pierced the man in the chest. And he killed the man... The fight seemed longer, but it was just two moves. The man was dead.

"Th-Thomas?" Cindy replied as she got up and the sword vanished and the man seemed to disappear into the ground.

"Cindy! Let's hurry!"

Together they held hands and ran to the lighthouse and climbed the stairs. They stood in the light and they could feel themselves being torn from their bodies and their souls were in the light. They were going to eternal heavan. They had achieved what they set out to do. Two young children... Who had nothing, but everything to lose. Were now home.

(END!!!)
