Hello, I have a HUGE request which is going to be a bit of a challenge to you guys...

I need a song, the problem is I already have the exact tune and timing in my head and (not meaning to be picky but) it absolutely has to sound this way.

It's a really simple tune, a few seconds at most, for a really stupid joke. the lyrics go: "Gibson SG, Gibson SG, Red and Black and Gibsony, Gibson SG!"

The tune (and this is the only way I can think of communicating it to you all) goes: doo da da daaa, doo da da daaa, dum de dum de dum de dum, doo da da daaaaaaa! And it goes higher up the scale as the tune goes on.

I hope someone can make something out of my inexcusible ramblings here, you have no idea how much I would appreciate it!! Big grin

What?! You are expecting some muscian to make a sound based off tunes in your head?! You can't explain that through the internet... Lyrics are always read in different tunes by different people. Smokin'

No, the laughable thing is that he expects us to get his tune from "dum de dum." You're right, that IS a challenge.

If you could at least put up a midi or sound clip of the basic melody, that'd be something, but just a "dum de dum"?

Yeah, I thought it would be difficult!!! Well, can anyone recommend a program for making midis that I can download because I don't have any such thing on my computer. (Well obviously if I did I wouldn't be asking you guys for some help in this problem!) Oookay...

I'm quite chuffed with that BAM, it's the first one I've ever made!!

Anyway I hope it gives someone a much better idea of how the song should go, I feel really stupid from my "dum de dums" now... Really confused

EDIT: Sorry that link doesn't work anymore. Besides, I don't need the song anymore, but thankyou everyone anyway.

the "tune" he posted basically outlines the beat. the melody is just supposed to ascend. read the lyrics and put them to the beat, and then figure out the rest. It's not that hard.
