..since my bestfriend (or my brother in my games) Lohne doesn't surf the net very much unlike me.i'll just be the one to post his artwork too:

its pretty good, although his mouth looks a little weird on one of the drawings. I like the hair especially. Well done!

This character better end up as more than a mere picture of a face staring at the screen. The point of anime is not to be a good art style, regardless of popular belief.

I like it, but in order for a good artist to get even better he must be critiqued. I think you do a marvellous job with the eyes, however, I think, that the neck is a bit too thick. Other than it is awesome.

The hands most inpress me. 1 because there, well good and 2 because I hate to draw them. Rolling Eyes

okay, first off the noses and mouths look like shit.
also, what is the point of shading the eyes if you're going to ignore shading everything else?

A lot of jap-style artwork shades in the eyes, but not the rest of the drawing. It can be stylish if done right.

For both the 3/4 sketch, the nose and the (lack of) indentation at the eyes make his face look flat. Not so much the second one, but the first one is definate. It could also be that his cheek is too high, or he has no chin.

Aside from that, I think it's pretty good.

It looks alot like the more recent interpretations of Ken from Street Fighter. It's definitely excellent quality anime drawing, but I don't think it has any real soul, or originality to it. He'd be able to sell stuff like that, though.
