Um, Leroy, it could be me, but I see eyebrows on almost all of them.
Anyway, yes, that's a really weird head, but for some reason the ear looks really good to me. |

Maybe Clara's problem is that she doesn't use makeup. Yikes.
Liesa does, though. She's the other one in the intro shots, if you remember that far back still.
I think that's the entire main cast now, drawn and colored, which means that I can stop posting these and get to work on the game. |

| I really have liked these drawings, they all show a good sense of skill, and it's better than most of the stuff on the forum. The only thing I can really criticize is the eyes. They seem like the kind of eyes an animal, like a chipmunk or a squirrel would have, instead of the more expressive eyes I'd expect a person to have. Even then, it's a minor fault, and the rest is good. Keep up the good work. |

Clara's problem has nothing to do with make-up. She has broad man-shoulders.
And I agree with Giz on the eyes. Not very expressive at all. |

Thank you! I'm rather flattered. It's nice to have someone besides Leroy pop into this thread once in awhile, even if I'm grateful for his running commentary.
The eyes, yes. It's worth noting, though, that as my focus changed from concept art to in-game portraits, my attention to detail also went way down. I still love Baram's eyes, for example. I just didn't see the point in fleshing out eyes that wind up as six indistinct pixels. |

I think I may note that eyebrows help with facial expressiveness. However, recall that I already suggested that they didn't have eyebrows. They have a line above the pupil which to me suggests the top of their eye. Maybe I am wrong, but one more line above the eyes would help.
PS: No offense taken, Ajora. I know what you mean. I like a wider variety of critics too. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...
