ok guys, the contest is over so place your votes now.
Scoring is from 0 to 10, 0 being the lowest, 10 the highest.
vote on who you like the best.
voting ends april 7th

the rule is simple, you cannot judge your own work.
so give the points accordingly, the drawing with the highest points wins the competition and is crowned miss pixel of ohr 2005.

give points to all the drawings but your own, that way, it will be easier to deside who the winner is.

example:

PHC: 6. This actually looks okay. The penis lacks detail, but everything else looks fine, if a bit sketchy.

Alicia by Sephyroth: 6, i don't like the style of the shading, plus the stance makes no sense for a fighter.

Kylene by St. Ajora: 4, it looks like a barbie 'color within the lines' thing. the face doesn't even look feminine.

Locked by Iblis: 8, it looks worthy of a professional nes game.

Leen by AdrianX: 5, typical anime copycat style.

Chick by rpgspotKahn: 5, because i'm not even sure what the girl in it is doing.

Pixel3 by Sew: 3, because of disdain for almost all principles of pixel art, such as making features distinct from eachother by choosing contrasting colors. and that scythe looks like a toothpick; scythes are much much bigger than that.

Brittany by Machu: 9, i really like this one. my only complaint is that she doesn't look feminine enough, and that takes away a point in a contest themed on femininity.

Poppi Rose by It is the Riz: 7, a bad copy of terra from ff6, and more of an advertisement than something that could be used in a game. and its eyes -- ack.

Deressi by Fernurion: 3, it's like something someone who never drew a sprite before would draw.

Vulpesu by Fenrir-Lunaris: 8, very good technically but the stance is too rigid and blocky and it just seems to be standing there doing nothing.

PHC: 7, because although it isn't drawn well, at least it means something, unlike the other sprites that were not drawn well.

EDIT: you know, i was thinking -- if someone really wanted to win, they wouldn't vote at all, because their vote would just be giving points to the other people. i'm still voting because that's a sneaky way to win, but i'm just pointing out that someone who entered the contest, but doesn't vote in it, has a much higher chance of winning than someone who entered the contest and did vote in it.

EDIT 2: i'll give a score to phc's after it's clarified *which* phc pic i am voting for.

Jenic by Komera 10: - Very nice. No flaws that I can see.
Alicia by Sephyroth 5: - Some points because it looks cute. Needs outline though, her legs look clumped.
Kylene by St. Ajora: 4 - Malproproptioned but not too bad.
Locked by Iblis: 7 - Nice use of shading and colour on just a few colours.
Leen by AdrianX: 8 - It's good.
Chick by rpgspotKahn: 6 - It's okay but the style I don't like.. shading is sloppy.
Pixel3 by Sew: 7 - Good work... The pose is a bit odd but works without outline giving it a realistic look.
Brittany by Machu: 8 - Professional looking work. Very refined.
Poppi Rose by The Riz: 7 -Well, it's a bit sloppy by it has nice style and deisgn to it.
Deressi by Furnurion: 3 - Shows a lot of inexperience with pixel art, I wouldn't say it's bad though; Furnurion will be good with some practice maybe.
Vulpesu by Fenrir-Lunaris 9 - I like the shading and outline work a lot.... very clean. Is this a hero graphic? Anyway, good stuff.
Rell by Rinku 9 - It has great detail and is probably the coolest pose-wise,
some problems with proportions though (i mean the ones that aren't a mutant of course)

Komera:9. The colors and drawing was good, I also liked the pose she was in.
Sephy:7. She looks good, but I think she needs an outline...but swords always make a chick look better!
St. Ajora:5. It looks average. Her leg seems a little funky to me.
Iblis:8. It looks unique, and the colors fit togather pretty well.
AdrianX:10. It looks awesome, and big head fits it's style.
rpgspotKahn:4. I would have made it higher, but her face looked wierd.
Sew:7. The style looks cool. The green and blue colors match really well.
Machu:7. The chainsaw makes her look creepy...and I like that, but she could have been drawn a little better.
Riz:5. It deffinitly looks.....different, but not in a great way. Also the colors don't match at all.
Fernurion:3....well...it's pretty self explanitory.
Fen:9. It looks nice and all. I like it!
Rinku:9. It will give younger kids nightmares forever!
PHC:8. I never thought I'd laugh at a Miss Pixel Contest until now.

special note to PHC: one of my friends said he'd make your picture into a wallpaper on his computer.
