|
|
I recently couldn't be bothered to do my music homework. Day before the deadline i thought "Hell I'll use my age of strife music" (my first ever OHR game). So I record the music and it turns out to be the best in the class. Then it turns out to be presented as a "gifted and talented" achievement and is played to the whole fragging school. I hate to sound arrogant but hell, have i created a masterpiece......No i dont think i have.
Anyway Id just like to announce the following thingy.
Please listen and play my game, and help me deflate my ego :-)
Age of strife people give it a go.

I don't know where you're from, but everywhere I've heard of, gifted and talented (TAG) are the advanced classes. _________________

but anyways...
congratulations on your accomplishment. i'm not too great with music myself, i can usually only get out a beat, but can never add anything spicy to it. _________________

What the heck were you thinking when you submitted it? That's self-plagirism, which IS illegal unless you do the same stuff there as you would do anyway... frankly, that part of copyright law is stupid... _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |

Did you, like, respond to the wrong thread or something? I'm having trouble seeing what you are refering to. _________________

I'm guessing Raekuul misunderstood what Septimus is saying and is assuming s/he ripped the music for his/her game and submitted that as his/her homework. |

Gifted and talented is another word for the school elite. Thank god im not part of that shit, they can brand me however they want, I'll always be intelligent riff-raff, just like you lot!

i hope not, because i've been described that way.
just as a technicality (and because i feel like being a jackass because only one person replied to my sad news lj entry), "gifted" generally describes people (usually children) whose iq is between 110 and 130. beyond 130 is varying degrees of "genius". _________________ LJ.Art

I'll out-technical you and say that "gifted" still applies at 130+. (What, am I ungifted because I'm smarter than them?) _________________

Yes, to a point. An ant is small. A dog is larger, but you don't call a dog small. An elephant is way more, and you certainly don't call it small.
If you're above gifted, you're a genius.
That said, I'm classified as "Gifted" by my school board, and I see no difference, except that I need to go sign forms every now and then. Oh, and teachers expect me to do harder work _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.
