Dynamic and theatric. Hmm... Sort of like Doctor Orpheus on the Venture Bros? _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Probably not. How about I show you?
Poptart sample/guideline
This is exactly the voice I have in mind when I write his dialogue, except there might be too much Unc in it, as it does have a trace of the Brit accent (i guess i just automatically throw that in with the theatrics, subconsciously).
Also, Uncommon sample |

I feel a lot closer to you now, Unc.
When you said "JUSTICE" I practically orgasmed. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

It is all that I have. :(
If you would point me to a program for recording .mp3 like you have, I would be much obliged.

Aethereal
based the voice on an actual kid on my track team
Announcer
sounds a bit too much like a clapboard guy, but it'll sound better when reading longer groups of text
Hachi
weird noise at the beginning. based more on how he's perceived in the game than in real life
Poptart
sounds a little hushed. i can do better than this
Squall
not my actual voice. i tried to make it sound like how i'm being portrayed in the game _________________ You got film in my video game!

Khan, with your accent, I think you'd make a decent Uncommon. |

YOU ARE WRONG I AGREE WITH PHC

OK, I'm going to say this right off of the bat: You guys don't know me. I haven't made a single game yet. But please, bear with me. I've been doing makeshift voices for my friends when I read the lines out loud ever since OHRH1, and I'm told I fit the bill pretty well (You should hear my Leroy impression.. hu hu...). Anyways, I would like to audition for the parts of both Hachi-Roku (my current favorite person on right now other than Poptart, even though technically he is not in the show) and Me. I have a pretty darn good mic for recording stuff like this, so gimme a shot, eh? I'll post up the files for some of the lines on the next post. Thankeh! _________________ Do you think it is possible to unfinish a book? Like, if you read a book from beginning to end, you finish it, right? But if you read it from end to beginning afterward, is it UNFINISHED? Does the same apply to magazines? |
