Every time I run custom, it comes up as an 800x600 screen. Yet my computer's resolution is set as 1024x768. Anyone know what's up? Not sure what I should change, since my computer settings are already at the highest they can be |

I had the same thing on my old laptop. I think that the graphics card cannot render as low as 320x200. _________________

It used to work just fine, and then I recently reinstalled Windows. Don't know what's up =/ |

if CUSTOM and GAME do not take up your entire screen, you may need to adjust your monitor settings to stretch them to the screen (a lot of monitors have seperate settings for seperate resolutions).
Otherwise, more information would be helpful. Monitor? Windows drivers all up-to-date? |

Or you could punch down the rez everytime you ran the OHR (not exactly a solution, just a temporary fix I suppose). I had to do that for a while on my old (read: crappy) monitor. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

The problem is I have an LCD monitor on a pavilion ze4300. Which means when I change the resolution it just makes the screen smaller with a black border.
It's strange...I think it's a DOS issue. I'm going to try it with another game... |

I also have a quick question:
Can Windows XP only run dos in full screen? That seems to be the only way I can get game.exe to run. I'd love to see it in a smaller size so the graphics would look a little better. _________________ - Your neighborhood bum, Itistheriz

Unfortunately, that's the only way Windows knows how to run graphical dos programs. Try DosBox as PHC mentioned. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

LCD screens are terrible for playing OHR games in any case. The colours are different, some of the pixels are a different shape, and checkered patterns like textboxes flicker. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Have you checked the drivers for your video card? when I had to re-install windows on my brothers laptop (his fault, not mine), windows did not recognise the card untill I used the 'rollback driver feature'. If that dosn't work, look around the net for a newer version of your driver. |

The problem is it doesn't recognize a graphics card at all.
When I run "dxdiag" to check it (I'm pretty sure that's how you do it) it says I don't have one, which is stupid because I do. So rollback wouldn't work either. |

Try using the Hardware Manager, under System in the Control Panel. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
