I just played BAM music on windows XP. It is atrocious the glockenspiel loses its consistancy the drum sounds crap and the strings sound retarded. Also the MIDI's are alot worse as well. Hang your head in shame bill gates you couldn't even make an operating system that played DOS sounds properly, oh and you conned the world by deliberately making XP flawed so that people would buy the upgrade.

BAM music never was great in the first place, and it doesn't sound bad in XP if you use the right instruments. You're complaining that a panpipe song sounds like crap on a grand piano. _________________ im realy ded |

The drum? DUDE there is NO DRUM instrument in BAM. BAMs are played in melodic, not percussion mode.
And Win XP has exactly nothing to do with BAM sounding crap - it's your computers fault, XP just prevents sound at all without VDMS. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Im talking about the snare drum/meldrum, etc, instruments that you can choose in stephanie's piano thingy.
There is a difference between BAM's played on 98 and XP I swear, i'll try and record two samples from each Operating system and then see the difference. _________________ Put it in your favourites:

It's 100% the sound card that determines the sound. Or, VDMS if the sound card is blocked.
And, TMC is correct: There is no drum. However, there are instruments defined that are approximations of drums. If you play a given bam in my playbam, you'll hear what they really sound like. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.
