Ok, and update. I got a letter in the mail from the Colts. Guess who's the newest member of the tuba line? BOOYAH! Yeah, so I'm officially a Colts Tuba player now. We tour the nation in the summer. Come see us, if you remember/feel like it/have money/have time. www.Colts.org

Here's a slightly off topic question. Trying to write my own song for the piano (because I love listening to piano music) and I'm having a bit of trouble with chords. I can play the tune fine, but can't find chords to match it well. Any piano player have some advice? It would be appreciated thanks!

For a simple harmony, drop three notes below your melody note, sometimes four. For a more complex harmony, you can add fifths and sixths.

Um, this is really hard to describe unless you, I, and a piano are in the same room. I'm really good at piano extemporizing, but have never successfully taught anyone else how to do it. Then again, no one taught me... maybe it's not teachable?

I sing and play guitar. I own a lot of interesting instruments like sitar, harmonium, djembé and melodica but im affected by the common disease of lazyness and I have never lernt to master them.

What instruments do you find most annoying? I never was a big fan of flutes and slick saxophone solos has never been my cup of tea either.
Tubas and sousaphones is an entierly differnt story, that is instruments of raw power.
