|
|
Alright ladies and germs, it's time once again... well a lil past time, for the 2nd Annunal Fool's Day OHR competition. I wanted to make this year completely different from the previous year, so I came up with a theme I am sure everyone can implement. This year, the theme is Video Game Stars!
-This year, the theme is Video Game Stars, and you may ask yourself, what the heck?! Well it's simple. Choose your favorite video game star, let's use... Mario for example, since he's so well known. Now it doesn't have to be Nintendo or what not. It can be any system out there. But anyways, you are the completely parody that game. Making it utter nonsense.
-Like last year's Fool's Day, there are some things that must be included to earn points. The more points, the better.
Include these to earn points
* Rap Star Rabbit (5 points)
* Object of Extreme Importance (vague, yes, but use that title to earn the points) (10 points)
* Starfish with sunglasses selling tomato juice (10 points)
* 1 Castle Paradox moderator (15 points)
* 1 O.H.R.RPG.C.E. character (example: Bob the Hamster; use up to 5 times) (5 points each)
Judging
Every entry has the potential to earn 100 points. Not including Bonus Points listed above. To achieve a higher score, you must parody your theme to the full extent. As in, no using other video game stars in your entry. (Ex: No Megaman in a Mario parody). The funner and more clever your entry, the better the score. So try your best.
So to sum it all up. Parody a famous video game star's game. It doesn't matter who it is neccessarily. Use the 5 categories to your advantage. It can help you earn up to 65 bonus points when judging time comes around. And to perphaps influecnce more people to join, I have decided to give a prize. I'm not a rich man, but I am willing to cough up 20 bucks to the winner of this contest.
-Video Game Star Padody!
-Use Bonus Categories to increase your score!
-Win a cash prize of 20 bucks!
Contest begins, May 13th. (Friday the 13th) and ends June 5th
Please let me know if you intend on being in this contest. _________________ ---------------Projects----

don't feel so high of yourself there 'Cantido', there's a lot of people here who are quite talented with this system.
anyways, you can count me in on this one, i could use the money.
QUESTIONS!
-if we are to parody a game, is it to be exactly like that original game is played, but just severly mentally injured?
-does the 'video game star' have to be famous, or do they just have to have starred in their own game.
- who the hell is Rap Star Rabbit?

You mention that it's an OHR competition, but does it have to be made with OHR? _________________

Not entirely. I mean you could, and it would rock entirely, but not neccessary. You just need to use all the characters and captrue that same environment of the game in order to parody it.
-does the 'video game star' have to be famous, or do they just have to have starred in their own game.
The character doesn't have to be famous. Just their own game. But somewhere, either in the title or the readme you need to make it perfectally clear which game this game is based off of.
- who the hell is Rap Star Rabbit?
Whatever you want it to be. A rabbit that raps. He was made up for the contest dude. Play Walrus Chef, it uses everything the contest required last year.
And Moogle, yes, it does require the OHR. Since after all, this is a site that uses OHR after all. Heh. _________________ ---------------Projects----

I'm assuming OHR characters don't count as "other video game stars." _________________

They don't. Only console heroes, like Nintendo, Sega, etc. Heh. _________________ ---------------Projects----
