I'm split here...
I do not think that games that were placed for people to view graphics and see what is to come - Like a preview in the form of a game - Should be reviewed, DEMO's also kinda fall here
Though some demo's that sit in the gamelist for years and nothing ever happens should be reviewable as they are probably not ever going to change and someone downloading deserves to know what he is downloading... Obviously complete games should be reviewable as well.
A demo that is so damn short that it has a textbox and one scene - Just to know what the game is like - should not be reviewable as the User is probably going to update the game sometime soon - Else the other thing above is do-able. _________________

Not reviewing demos is a terrible idea. Demos exist to give the author feedback fir the full version or later demos. |

Not in the case of demos that don't at least get you wondering how the game-world came to be like that... especially not the L.O.M.E Demo of Colora. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day.

The demo has to actually show aspects of the full game to make feedback on it useful. And "dis gaym suks" is not enough to write a review on. |

I'm delighted to see so much feedback on this issue; a lot of you share apparently share my point-of-view, on the issue of whether or not a game should be considered "reviewable" at any time following its upload. My position is that, if someone uploads a game, any form of feedback as soon as possible is a good thing — even if the demo is short, perhaps it's better that the creator receives both positive and negative feedback before changes to the game would become projects in themselves. _________________ “Well.
