|
|
I'm looking for about five playtesters for an upcoming game to be released on Saturday. Playtesting will begin on Friday and playtesters will be expected to finish the game by Saturday morning. The game's estimated length is 25 min.
If you meet any of the following criteria, you will be chosen to playtest:
1. The first person to volunteer
2. The person with the most reviewed games who volunteers
3. The first person to volunteer who can tell me the name of the game
4. The person with the longest game (by playtime according to the game review) who volunteers
5. Another randomly chosen person
Of course, this is all at my discretion, so I will deal with ties any way I wish. If, for example, Fenrir volunteered first and gave the game's name, he might win for 1, 2, 3, and 4 (depending on who else volunteered), so I might award his surplus playtest slots to someone else or I might not.
If you want to volunteer, do so by Friday. I'll make a post noting when playtesters have been chosen. Thanks to Fyrewulff for inspiring this contest of sorts. _________________

I volunteer, and I believe some of my qualifications help put me in a slight lead. Seeing as how Halloween Quest 2 was the longest game of mine, and managed to get reviewed. I also have a fair amount of reviews on those games. _________________ ---------------Projects----

Yeah, but Halloween Quest 2 was boring. I have no social life, and have been known to be fairly obsessive in pursuing of bugs. I'd be happy to do it, but damned if I know what the game is. MageClash or something? Fucked if I know. |

Well, shoot, since I'm subjective about this, Push the Button could be voted for highest playtime.
Not Mageclash, though. I mentioned this game to a few people over AIM and made a comment to someone somewhere else about it. If you're not one of the two or three I talked to on AIM about it, your best chance is to look for that comment or try to meet one of the other criteria.
Oh, and "random" may be subjective, too.
So far, the only playtester I'll confirm is T-dog, since that one is a given. _________________

Is the game SpyJim? You mentioned this name in Gilbert's LJ. _________________ Locked

I'm entering the "I'm a developer, so I know what bugs exist in the engine, and can look out for the especially" category, also known as "random person" _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Entering for whatever game this is, but I might not be reliable.
Also, I have less reviews than a lot of people but some of my reviews are a lot better than 90% of the reviews on this site. |

I should be chosen for the random slot, because I once caused a car accident (and not with my car). |

I've seen a horse-drawn carriage cause a car accident. You get no points. _________________

Damn it... but it was in response to my gestures and mouthing of certain expletives, so it's kind of like magic. |
