Sorry if this is in the wrong place...i didn't know where to put it.

Why can't I connect to the chat room? i'm using the java version and I get the message "connection refused"

Possibly because of firewall settings. Are you using a public computer?

Or it might be because of problems with Espernet's servers. Some of them aren't working right now. If you're not using a public computer, mIRC works better.

when it says that, try typing

/server irc.esper.net

to have their load balancer connect you to the most available, working server.

I'm using MY computer...and i don't wanna install anything.

Should I just wait and see if it fixes after a while?

I also gots a problem with the chat room, i have java and i restarted my computer, but when i start the chat room i never actually get into the chat room i just go to that other thingy, that comes first?!???i think?

Ok, now I get "operation timed out".....and I restarted my computer...many times.

Is the whole chat room down or what?
