Yeah, i know i'm a couple hours early, but i dont know how much longer i can manage to stay awake (so damn tired). Lucky people.
Anyhoo, your task is to make a game that revolves around the biggest cliche in the RPG world: Save the princess from the unspeakable evil.
Wait, that's not all. You must choose one of the following scenarios to base the world your game takes place. You must use ONE of these described worlds and weave your story into it.
1. A meteor has fallen from the sky. Due to extreme heat caused by the meteor, the world has dried out and has become a giant desert. Water is scarce, but it does exist very rarely. How some people survived is still a mystery
2. Due to heavy polution, the lower surface of the world is no longer inhabitable. Technological and architectual advances has made it possible to live in the sky. (in what way is up to you)
3. Greenhouse gases caused the icecaps to melt and the world has been flooded. Because the glacial water mixed in with ocean sea water, none of this water is drinkable. (Think Waterworld)
4. Due to nuclear waste spreading throughout the world, plants have evolved and mutated making the world a giant jungle. Some of the plants may have also come to life.
Remember, although the main story involves saving a princess, that's not all it's limitted to. Why was the princess taken? What was the main motive? Is there anything else beyond that? Before?
Submit your game at the end of Sunday. I'll be at work by 11pm, so i wont be around that time, but that doesn't mean you can put on an extra hour or 5 >_<.
And dont worry bout the provided .RPG file. I'm too tired, and i'm too lazy. So get started everyone~! |

I was going to enter for shits and giggles, but the fact that I have a life to deal with tomorrow as well as a job to deal with on Monday leaves me out of the running. I'll still finish what I was doing, but not in time for the contest, so here's a teaser screen. _________________

With how things are at my house, this equates to *roughly* a 5 hour contest. _________________ A broken clock is still right twice a day. |

Well, it looks like I couldn't make it. CP wouldn't even load yesterday. _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."
