a simple question really, I would also like you to judge how good or how horrible it was in your replies.

also when do you think James (owner of hamster republic, the OHR and everything else on that website) will finish off the game?

I think we've all played it, right? It's what inspired most of us to use the OHR. It's a great example for starters.

A true masterpiece is never truely done. However, I think Jame's is pretty much done, if what I hear is correct.

Note: I admire your desire to know all this stuff, but is the forum really the best place to ask some of these questions? Try the chat channel, get more live answers to your questions. Download MIRC, if you already have not. Join one of our channels (which I haven't been to forever. And the last time not too many people were active, so I don't know how helpful it would be.) That is the best advice I can give on that at the moment. Happy

After you download MIRC, type /server irc.esper.net into the main window, and then go to #ParadoxLounge, #CastleParadox, or #OHRRPGCE. #CastleParadox is more active, but there's a lot of losers and lamers there, #ParadoxLounge not so active, but there's not really anyone there, and #OHRRPGCE is always looking for the new blood, but we're all old and cranky so we might be napping. Or, do it The Giz way, and join all three. Looking forward to meeting you there, we can always use more IRCers.

WAAA??? I dont think that has anything to do with this thread, are you sure you said the right thing in the correct place?

It was just a helpful pointer. Leroy mentioned downloading IRC to ask these questions, but he didn't explain how to get there, I was just elaborating on that. It wasn't on the original topic of the thread, but it was related to a topic of current discussion within the thread, but yes, I posted that exactly where I meant to.

As for Wandering Hamster, yes I've played it. I haven't played it in a long time, and I don't think he'll ever really finish it.

EDIT: Not a problem at all, Signiore Leo

Sorry, Giz. I sort of forgot to explain that. Thank you for correcting that. Sorry.

I'm planning on prodding James a bit to get him to work on it... It hasn't changed since mid 2002, if I'm not mistaken...

He dosen't work on the game itself. If I remember right, what he did with the Quaternion release was add a few graphix.

He repackages it with a new copy of the OHR every time it's released, but no substantial changes. Specifically, the last thing to change (around Esperable, IIRC) was that a Viking ship appeared in an inaccessable part of the map, post-ending.
