Or you could draw him throwing a box through a big screen with a scarey bald guy barking at an audience of equally hairless, brainwashed people.
Real artist: The expressions of the lakitu and the cloud are great. I say that because not only are they symbolic. Lakitu is government = emotionless; Cloud is the American population = Naive/happy about the progress in third world countries helped by USA, right? I won't read into it much. The faces are priceless, that's the point I am making. Probably the greatest thing about this. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

This might sound dumb, but maybe put a heart on the box or above the cloud's head? Just tossin' out the idea, bud. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

It was better with UNICEF written on it. Also, the ^_____^ expression on
that cloud's face weirds me out to no end. It looks like Woo's from
WALTHRUS, although I'm sure its intentional. |

Is this better? how's the shading? |
Oh yes. haha!
The shading is rather sketchy for starters. I wouldn't say that this illustration has any depth, really, which isn't my main concern. It's not a problem to begin with. The problem is the shadows. The Lakitu has a shadow under it, but the box does not. One could argue that the object is too far above the ground to notice it's shadow, but the overall effect of the object being above the third-world people is achieved better if you give the box a shadow on the ground too. I think the box's shadow should be just about as far from the box as the Lakitu's shadow is from the Lakitu. They appear to be about the same hight, right before the "hammer" is dropped. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I'm just going to assume that's not sarcasm, because it seems nicer.
Anyway, it looks fairly decent for a sketchy Paint doodle. Although, I don't think Lakitus have that shape of nose.
It's very political. Nice job.
