What is this error and how do I fix it? It's been showing up frequently in my game, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the scripting.
EDIT: Okay, the game file's been changed as of now. I'm still confused about this error however. If you want to see it, go into the hss file included with the game and get rid of the "#" at line 730, then import it back into the rpg file (unpassworded). |

Hey, sweet game!
If it helps (which I'm sure it won't) the error only occours when the enemy attacks, not you.
Also sometimes when enemy knights are spawned the have their pallete all pure white.
Furthermore, when you load, all the houses you have taken over become red once more.
And another thing, how are you meant to get into the castle?
If you continue to work on this after the 168 hr contest *wink wink* I have some ideas: Make some units have different speeds, make it possible to delay your turn, and make it possible to spawn your own units and exchange armies. |

That's exactly what's been weirding me out.

Number 1 I've never encountered before. I'll look into it.
Number 2 I've noticed, but somehow forgot about it. I probably don't have enough time left to fix it anyways.
Number 3: There are two enemy forces in the game that don't move. One of them is the final boss. The other is the "gate guard". The castle doors are supposed to open once you defeat the gate guard, unless they don't, in which case something's wrong with the script. I'll check this again. |

More info:
when the white pallette thing happens, it goes normal when you attack that npc, and it may just be from one house (bottom middle?). |

Well, thanks to some last-minute bugfixing, two of the three problems are fixed. (1 and 3)
Apparently, instead of drawing in an opening when the gate guard is defeated, the walls are simply redrawn. It's now possibly to actually get into the castle.
Also, there are no palette changes in the game. Every unit has a normal "0" frame, and a "1" frame with everything whited out. The bug is the result of some npcs getting created on the "1" frame. That's been fixed (I think) |
